The son of Maimonides.
He followed his father's line of thought and also viewed Christian theology - particularly its anthropomorphism - as a deviation from true monotheism.

4. Rabbi Meir of Rothenburg (1215-1293 CE)
A major Ashkenazi authority during the medieval period.
In his responsa, he clearly defines Christian beliefs as idolatrous, and ruled that Jews must not enter churches due to the presence of icons and statues.
