I have a friend who is a refugee in a country where uscis has an office. He has lived for over 2years there. He got married to an American a year ago. Can he successfully apply for a spouse visa to move to the states with the wife? If yes what’s required of him to facilitate this, any guidelines as he is still a Nigerian over there which is why I make this inquiry here

When applying for a B1/B2 visa for any purpose, you will need to demonstrate that you both intend to leave the United States after a temporary visit and that your intended activities in the United States are consistent with the visa class you are applying for.
