safarigirl:Msctheww, na women i blame! Left to guys alone, artistes with their deceitful cassanova and naughty vulgar lyrics as well as lewd suggestive dancing like Chike and Flavour won't be allowed to even enter a studio. I hope someone's husband or boyfriend is pissed enough to come for those guys with a gun, Nonsense! ![]() |
safarigirl:This Chike that somehow manages to deceive females with this his lie lie lyrics! Make e getat!!! ![]() |
carammel:Yeah, i suspect Deji also knows something, which is why he kept asking Biggie to get her a therapist. |
[quote author=Eeghe post=117034900]Aaawww people!!!!!! |
Wow, has education gotten this bad?!!!!! |
shawnmendes:She has obviously been through a lot and her behaviour with men is simply part of the symptoms of being dealt with by brutal Benin boys. But we ultimately decide our situations in life as long as we have the free will to choose between right and wrong. You think Phyna's story is that terrible? Then what will you say about the life experiences of Hermes and Chi-Chi? Hermes and his dad got thrown out of an uncompleted building where they were squatting by vigilantes, that was how his childhood pictures got lost. Of course we all know about his mom. Chi-Chi must have been faced with poverty, lack of parental guidance and traumatizing sexual and physical abuse from such a young age. Adekunle has admitted to seeing her wake up from bed suddenly with a wild defensive look, like she's watching out for someone trying to take advantage of her in her sleep. The day she'll actually talk to a therapist it might be a very intense and draining episode. Life has dealt a hard punch to these 2 people, but they packaged themselves to the best of their abilities and added to the Island vibe of the Level 1 house. Phyna has it much better, she still has parents that are alive and well, she's even a graduate. She simply just likes to make the sometimes wrong choices and lacks a sense of when and where to do certain things, worsened by her man problems. Why does she battle a compulsive urge to yell out "Who dey?" all the time? Why can't she understand that Groovy isn't her husband and as such other girls can still try their luck with him? I just feel for her because she admitted that Groovy is the first guy to ever put a duvet on her while sleeping as well as serve her food in breakfast, she is used to being treated harshly by men, she even expects it, so even if it's for a day, she's addicted to the boy. To make things worse, she's actually the most fragile female in that house, to cry no dey hard am. If she wins the money it's all good, she'll definitely be a solid multimillionaire by this time next year win or lose, but she needs to rebrand herself and convince herself that she deserves more. Her fans would do well to help her in this. |
safarigirl:"He doesn't have stimulating conversations and doesn't seem to be intellectually sound either".....this is still subjective, who does he usually discuss with and what do they usually talk about? I would be cautious about doubting the intellect of someone who somehow managed to graduate in Biochemistry(a course that might not be your thing), just because he sometimes speaks in a way that probably reminds you of Cross. Groovy as i noticed is simply more of an observer, hence his very long Diary sessions. It's how Deji came across as a narcissistic mannequin until he met Pharmsavi and they began to relate as fellow pharmacists. Many people don't know that he aims to get his practice license in the US despite being a model(the same goes for Doyin). Maybe you WANT to find something wrong with him so you can simply say to yourself - "So he's human and imperfect afterall!"(which we all are anyway) . Or are you doing that reverse psychology thing people do when they see someone they feel slightly incapable of attracting? ![]() |
Eeghe:Yeah yeah. It was around the time she realized that being a 3rd girlfriend to Hermes wasn't such a bad thing ![]() |
safarigirl:Stop projecting, it's affecting your otherwise sharp ability to understand what the other person is saying. I ask again, can you honestly say your family won't high-five you if you bring Groovy, a respectful, quiet, hustle-oriented, and educated Igbo boy(forget his looks) home? ![]() Besides, this "mental attraction" angle you want to infer is very misleading and it's what gave people like Laycon false confidence with Erica. We are creatures of flesh, na eye we dey first use chop food before we use mouth. You can date a Nobel Laureate or a billionaire and still cheat on them because of an utter absence of physical attraction. If a guy likes you mentally, just know that you can never be more than a comrade to him. So Groovy is someone you can't take to your family, is that what you're saying? I want to understand you better in this regard since you're holding yourself out as either having very high standards in men or being too used to rejecting attractive men. Did I say that their conversation was the basis of an attraction or i said she already found him physically attractive with or without any conversation? |
Aguwanyi:Allysyn once told Doyin about having a good time dancing with Groovy during a Saturday night party and Adekunle came to interrupt. She stated that it really annoyed her. |
safarigirl:"Una trophy".....you can't with a straight face say your family won't give you a resounding applause if you bring a guy that looks like Groovy home. Besides, i personally watched Modella say that she didn't think Groovy because it would be unfair to Beauty who was quite nice to her. You think Modella would have kept her cool if she entered the house on the first day and met Groovy as a free agent? The only really lengthy conversation she had with him was about their industry (modelling). Modella finding Groovy attractive isn't a crime, at least she was honourable enough to maintain her distance. Considering the brutal dog-eat-dog nature of female competition, that says a lot! |
Eeghe:Oddly enough, Groovy's female fans mostly wanted him to juggle as many girls as possible. Chomzy must have itched for Groovy to apply pressure, but the truth is that Phyna was very territorial and made it clear that she will fight on top Groovy matter (Chomzy would have beaten her senselessly though). It's all for nothing, from the audience screams yesterday, it's obvious that Groovy might need private security at this rate. There are women who just want to brag about having sex with him, and others might be even planning sex with him in the hope of having kids that look like him. Phyna, just like Beauty, is finally losing her cool over a guy who seems to wear an aura of peace constantly. She should focus more on the 100m . |
Aguwanyi:You forgot to mention Allysyn & Modella, but Allysyn quickly killed her attraction maybe because she felt she no reach, while Modella stood down simply because Beauty was friendly to her. |
godspeed:The grilled catfish that almost caused fight last week in Level 3 was from Luciana's Grill, Lucy owns the business. |
davodyguy:Comot mouth for dat Adekunle and Rachel beef. Na man & woman matter! You don't disappoint a female and expect her to laugh with you. Have you forgotten the hate Doyin later had for Deji? |
wman:It is what it is. The same Chichi tried to poison Chomzy's mind by influencing her to face Eloswag because she still had plans for Groovy. Women simply have a bizarre addiction to fine boys, and that can sometimes be a problem. |
Ijeoma you're a very stupid girl!!! Are you in a commitment with Groovy?!!! Are you married to the boy?!!! You're very lucky you weren't a housemate to Ese or Tboss or Maria or Anto or Jackie B or Angel! Those ones will actually DM you a video of them riding Groovy ruggedly just to give you heart attack! Beauty should have stayed o. But did this Henry do black magic? Even the females in the audience were screaming like mad women! If Groovy wanted he would have played Beauty, Phyna, Chomzy, Amaka, Ilebaye, Chi-Chi and Allysyn all at the same time! I really don't think it's right for a guy to look too good o! |
realhovaps:Ha, so you look like Groovy?! Girls fit kee you o!!! |
If you're an Obi-dient, the eviction of Hermes has a telling lesson - walk the walk, don't just talk the talk. Did you VOTE?!!!! I voted for Chibueze, did the rest of hemispheres vote? Next year February, please fall out and vote o!!!!! Kai, my Chibueze!!!!! |
Kai, Chibueze!!!! Despite my votes!!!! |
You had a good run Groovy Mono, those girls almost killed you! More wins to you Nwanne !!!! |
nooker:I actually deleted my initial reply to this,e get why. You wouldn't have liked it. |
nooker:Once again, an incoherent, aimless, and very irrelevant attempt at a clapback just because you need to have the last word like some petulant teenager - you didn't disappoint. And no, your Frank reference was very non-sequitur, how does your presumed income of 1 person support all your arguments? Are you really like this or you're just playing? What's my business with the show organisers or you once again had to drift off-topic? Are you new to logical conversations of any sort? |
nooker:Your using football games, ongoing sports events that employ more people (players, referees, physiotherapists, commentators, lawyers, etc) is utter false equivalence. Assertion No.1 :- I said this year's BBNaija was a bad idea because of the political situation and should have taken a breather as people suggested. Assertion No.2 :- The show still going ahead led to generally poor viewership levels, even showing in the rationing by Biggie (due to fluctuating prices of daily needs) and frequent fighting for food among the housemates (Whitemoney's set fought more over WHO was supposed to cook the food). Your counter-assertion :- People still attended Obi rallies en masse so BBNaija wasn't a distraction (i didn't argue this,i stated that politics instead distracted from BBNaija viewership) . 2nd counter-assertion:- BBNaija provides jobs(not particularly, i mentioned the extent of South African participation in the scheme which is nothing more than a business racket favouring South Africa more). You mentioned Frank Edoho(irrelevant point, did he file for bankruptcy). 3rd counter-assertion:- BBNaija is equivalent to watching Football games and sport betting which i may be involved in (You're wrong, sport events hire more people, run for longer recurring periods, and mostly lack the one-off carnival feeling of BBNaija fandom) You are also implying i don't like the show, you know this how? Is my argument that the show was a bad idea this year or i hate the show ? You probably fail exams a lot. You see why i said you should slow down and read carefully to understand? I know your ego will push you to send an incoherent retort. |
Eeghe:Lol, can you honestly say Doyin didn't ENJOY speaking with Hero ? |
nooker:Economically, BBNaija ultimately benefits comparatively few people, some of them South Africans and maybe rent-seekers at the NBC ,with the profits being ultimately made by South Africans through EndemolShine. When you're losing more than you're gaining, how does that make financial or economic sense? Your eagerness to give an immature clapback made you not get my drift - the BBNaija this year was ill-timed and should have taken a breather. It showed in viewership, bants and fan wars, even here on infamous Nairaland. It showed in brand participation. It even dimmed the fact that this is possibly the most entertaining season so far and the most organic selection of housemates in a very long while. I am simply saying that the show was a bad idea because of the current situation in the country, even the escapist value of the show has been dimmed by several issues including embarrassing rationing by Biggie leading to fights among the housemates. Some of the housemates have been obviously itching to talk about politics if not for house rules. Do you now understand me or you want to keep arguing aimlessly? |
sajosoj850:You're reading to just reply, not understand. I'm not even an Adekunle fan, so what are you on about? |
sajosoj850:"She figured out Adekunle has an agenda".....do you not see how ominous this sounds? You made it look like Adekunle is some kind of deviant! |
nooker:That our minds should be there because BBNaija is a temporary escape, even within the show the effects were felt. Look at how Biggie steadily looks for excuses to limit Pocket Naira uses and validity as well limit wager wins. This set fought the most over food, even the sponsors aren't splurging as much as they used to in past seasons. People are tired, for the first time in BBNaija history Instagram followership has been below 200k for many of the housemates despite their being much more entertaining than SYE. Even endorsements are frankly trickling in , money cakes and maybe shippers' gifts for the first time in BBNaija history being more frequent than signed deals! BBNaija is fun, but we shouldn't get too carried away - wahala dey!! I trust you can properly comprehend what my point is now? |
JBoss25:That's what i've been saying but some escapists here even tried to get me blocked! |
sajosoj850:You implied it about him possibly wanting to smash Daniella. |
Sanqa:Hmmmm. Chomzy from what i'm seeing isn't taking her eviction so well. If Phyna wins, she'll want to use her for major clout by being seen in public with Groovy. Fat head Amaka might even still try her luck again! What will be a no-no is Groovy reuniting with Beauty, that will be hyper-stupid of him. Groovy is now exposed to much more beautiful and more refined chicks because of his BBNaija stay so he'll have tons of options to choose from. Phyna's family should closely mark her if she wins because the girl is silly and might gift a man her money unto a need to be loved! Highest is that Phyna will give him vigorous nacking and they go their separate ways.... hopefully.... |
