If the 26 housemates moved into the same house from the beginning, trust me, there wouldn’t be so much fuss about Groovy, Groovy obviously was the finest on level2 and Beauty made him more desirable.


Dunno if Mercy is doing better than Ike or not, i don’t care about most of them after the house.

Still back to the same matter, with money, Maitama women will always get guys like Groovy and finer, to them it’s just the thrills and nothing more, a man should be worried if that’s all women sees him as, sextoy or toyboy.


You are not at liberty to talk for over a thousand young educated men earning 400 to 500k monthly, such men have been moved by Ladies that are not even on Phyna’s level aesthetically, what is pleasing to you may just not appeal to the next person and that’s the beauty in diversity.

I don't know you in person, but your thinking having 100m suddenly levels up Phyna to the point of being able to dump & have a guy like Groovy grovelling after her shows that you might not be doing too well in the calibre of guys you meet regularly. Phyna & Amaka played your type of doublespeak, telling Beauty she was "governor's spec", only for Beauty to watch the same Phyna and Amaka on TV fighting for who will get with the same Groovy. Ilebaye, Phyna and Amaka first had their eyes on Groovy but Beauty clearly and aggressively beat them off.

Even when Amaka spoke about Groovy losing his buzz had it been they were merged from the beginning (the same night they made the "Governor's spec" consent), Phyna in a lowered voice said that she should come off that, she had already analysed the Level 1 guys there and still, Groovy was definitely the most attractive in the house. Deji & Sheggz, typically confident & borderline conceited, admitted that Groovy looked very good, it affected his modelling career because he came across as androgynous.

You suddenly don't care about most of the housemates but you know Phyna can easily dump Groovy because she now has 100m right? Okay.

And no, having 100m doesn't suddenly make you a Maitama woman, even Phyna herself will tell you to calm down if she sees you making this comment, abi this is your own style of "women supporting women"?

The reason i mentioned the 400-500k monthly earning example is because men typically like to date or marry downwards in a situation where there won't be a potential ego clash. A man who earns and feeds himself wouldn't take crap from a girl who might be much richer than him and having her own ego issues too, which is also why successful self-made women also typically like to also date down because dating upwards can lead to a loss of control or ego e.g. Nicki Minaj always dated guys she was way richer than, Cardi B on the other hand was with Offset when he was already big, so her come up wasn't an issue. My point is, Groovy is not hungry, on his own and based on family background. He is also no stranger to beautiful women (which is why Phyna might have been a novelty interest for him), so what makes you think Phyna with 100m will suddenly look more attractive to him?

The tail-end of this season finally turned out to be underwhelming. To be honest, Sheggz was a terrible enabler if Bella's bad sides, i sincerely hope he was just playing a role, if that's how he is in person, wahala dey!

Rachel, please & please, men HATE drama. You don't have a right to be angry with Adekunle after clearly choosing Giddyfia, you also shouldn't be talking after making classy Diana act like a mad woman for the first time. I hope you do better going forward.

Phyna being a hypewoman has seen ballers and big boys before obviously, Beauty was....well,an actual Beauty queen, same as Chomzy. Forget the body-shaming she suffered here, Amaka is also a pretty girl, and then there's the seductive and mysterious-looking Ilebaye, these girls are no strangers to fresh boys, yet Groovy was a major topic for them.

Mercy won and is still winning, has she been able to do better than Ike since, forget the Sugar Daddies? She can at best get gigolos, most of them already booked by possibly richer girls. That's why Lekki wives with all their money keep going after fresh boys. A young educated man who packages well and earns his 300-400k a month will NOT be moved by a Phyna.

I no know about some of the others, but these are just a few people. Dem no dey pick random Nigerians for this show.

I remember Phyna, she wasn't popular, her skits were known for being crassly vulgar. It was in the house i realized that she's actually very vulnerable and even more lady-like than Beauty or Bella. Her Tik-Tok persona also turned out to be a farce, though she gave off the hard street girl persona, she ended up beating the crying record of Alex. Despite her man problems,She's drama, still offensively loud, but pure drama. Her getting in must have been on merit. Everyone knows someone, if you got into the BBNaija, it might just be coincidence that you'll have many lawyers and top Corporate people canvassing mad votes for you, does it mean you lobbied your way into the house?

Chi-Chi was a stripper, i repeat, a stripper. Na only for night dem dey famz people like that.

Eloswag kinda fell off from his Hip TV days and was managing a 100k Content writer job.

Allysyn got good gigs as a model, but she wasn't quite there, modelling is a fickle industry, and Allysyn's face, the main raw material for face modelling which is where the money is, isn't exactly remarkable. Moreso, Allysyn obviously isn't ready to give up the cookie,which is why she seems to be living a rather Spartan life for a model with that kind of body.

The Okagbue's have had better days and declining clout, Sandra is an old cargo (still very beautiful though) who got lucky with Flavour. They could have gotten her in, but only based on Chris or Flavour most likely lobbying Ebuka(this might explain why she's the only one with no psychological similarities with her hotel roomie, Christy O).

Bryann is most likely well-deserved, and is a true symbol of the obvious Gen Z theme this season tried to maintain. How many people above 30 will easily admit to needing to Level-up? His mom is just cashed-up and is backing him up,but that's it. Bryann got in on merit.

Hermes was a fringe element in the industry. He was in a ton of videos, but was nowhere near a Pocolee. His skill set needed more harnessing which the Music industry didn't exactly know how to do, hence his need for BBNaija. That's how we all got wowed by his can-do mentality, his stoic acceptance of whatever life gives him, and his very impressive vocabulary for a guy who might not have any SSCE result (this is what must have gotten him in on merit apart from the fact that he used ZERO influencers, any celebrity that helped him get in would have pushed him with a bandwagon as well).

Beauty was a good fit for BBNaija- young, beautiful, lawyer-in-equity. With her resume she would have been chosen on merit (female lawyers are a BBNaija favourite-Ceecee, Jmk) .

Groovy.... look at a guy like that, he's MADE for TV, and he was probably the best selection of this year apart from Hermes.

Adekunle knew just Vector (based on Lafiaji things) , besides he USED to manage Vector donkey years ago (we both know Vector almost fell off after the MI beef years ago). Adekunle entered BBNaija homeless and jobless. Adekunle entered on merit and is a psychological profile twin of Cyph, which makes more sense.

Rachel could have been clout, it's a Rider role afterall which would boost her career and other pursuits like her make-up artistry. She even cheated Biggie for being almost useless as a Rider.

Sheggz is where i can agree with you. Merely being a resident of Parkview Estate can open many doors, and he was quite chummy with Pere who must have given him playbook (use a ship, create controversy via a general condescending attitude which can create a reverse fanbase effect like the Titans or Patriots). But even he was scared and thought he had being rejected from the auditions at the last minute, especially when Groovy was called from their room and he was left alone. It's why he dressed so crappily when called to the stage on their opening day (Bella also mentioned crying heavily when Christy O was taken and she was left behind).

This year's selection was mostly merit-based, matched closely by Double Wahala.

This season for all its little gaffes succeeded in some things :-

1. Sheer unpredictability. Till now nobody knows who the winner is, something that was only matched by the win of Katung (and maybe Miracle's win).

2. Organic selection - These housemates were truly picked from random groups of ordinary Nigerians seeking fame and/or fortune. It's not like SYE where the only sure fair selections were Sammie,Yerins,Tega & maybe Nini. Almost every other person knew people or already had some clout, looking back, Whitemoney already even knew who the wildcards were.

3. Age - This, apart from Miracle's set is the best selection of naive and unexposed Gen Zs - Grade A BBNaija material. No more washed-up people from the entertainment industry using mago mago to revamp their careers via BBNaija.

The 1 remaining flaw is that some housemates still used influencers and already organized PR teams backed by funds(this is what really led to Hermes leaving). The only person that miraculously held his own with organic voting was Adekunle (something Pere also managed to pull off last year). This is still the most entertaining season for many people (Miracle's season was pure organic fun, almost perfect and created the most successful stars out if ordinary kids), Biggie just messed things up with the twists this year, Fat head's eviction was kinda unfair sha.

Maturity as a man is good sha. If i was Groovy and much younger, i might have toyed with the idea of walking round the house to find where there are no cameras (Giddyfia discovered that behind the doors had private spaces).

I would have told Ilebaye,Amaka, Chi-Chi and Chomzy(during Saturday night parties when viewers and production can't listen) that we could either meet behind the laundry space doors on selected days or around 2-3am in the restrooms while i am still with Phyna.

If that fails i will just tell them to wait till one of the girls get evicted one by one or after the show or i would instigate a quarrel with any girl i'm done with and break up with her to move on to the next one sharply. By Week 9 when i would have been evicted i would pulled off a the body count which would be revealed at the reunion with a huge smile on my face! Kai, bad tin no good o!

He spoke down on not just Bella but almost the whole house except Diana(she pass am), Bryann (because he feels he might actually blow as an artist), and Groovy (because he knows that one can definitely bag all the White girls he probably fantasizes about), the only difference is Bella and Doyin enjoyed swallowing his BS.

This is the season I followed the most cos I'm just at home. Here's what I feel about the housemates this season.

Level two:
Phyna: I think she's real. But the reason people are excited for her is because it's the first time a woman is bringing this kinda street vibes. Every girl on the show played Behind. Even Alex and Lucy that tried to play the poverty card were not razz.

Daniella: She's brilliant, but emotionally weak. She's the kind of girl that falls for any man who tells her "I love you".

Ilebaye: I just didn't get to understand her cos I didn't like her for no reason, so I always wonder what people saw in her.

Christy O: She was so boring, but I think it was the negative water reaction on her face that made her isolate herself as it dealt with her self esteem. She was beginning to crawl out of her shell when the eviction happened.

Amaka: She was herself. The talkative insecure girl that so wanted a man. I found her entertaining. I liked her.

Modella: I keep wondering why she's hated by a lot of people because I think she did a great job.

Bryann: The definition of grace. He adjusted after the merge because he knew Islanders were mostly rude people and they wouldn't tolerate his running mouth. He sleeps way too much for a housemate. That kitchen cushion don really suffer for him hand. But I like him.

Cyph: He was cool. I wish he stayed a little bit longer.

Khalid: Smart and intelligent. But Nigerians saw him and Daniella as Eric and Lilo. Fortunately for Daniella, they started seeing her potentials before her nomination came...so Khalid paid the price.

Kess: Just another boring married man. I was so happy when he left.

Pharmsavi: He had potentials that were buried inside his low self esteem. Too bad.

Groovy: Just a pretty boy. Zero game. He could have created great contents out of those ladies that were so into him.

Chizzy: Absolutely amazing

I don't blame Groovy. All the previous housemates that tried what you're suggesting, starting from Ebuka himself during his season, suffered for juggling 2 girls at the same time. I guess times have changed, because most viewers oddly wanted Groovy to juggle Beauty, Chomzy, Phyna,Amaka, Chi-Chi & Ilebaye (the same thing they lambasted Giddyfia for doing) - una been wan kill am? The stranger thing is that minus Beauty and Phyna, the other girls might not have minded sharing him!

Groovy deserves credit for showing good home training. He looks like a playboy, but just wasn't raised that way. I hope he seeks more discipline, because it will get worse now he has left the house. Many ex-female housemates as well as female fans will be in his DM, when women really want you, just know that you're in very deep trouble. For Kess, better to be boring than lose his marriage, those BBNaija girls are witches, dem no get fear or respect!

Lol, i have learned that at the end of the day, females aren't different from guys in certain things. Cross was loved in spite of his naughtiness simply because of his looks and very free-minded disposition. No matter how tired or upset the girls were, they never complained when he called for a Truth or Dare game. You think a Kemen or Trikytee or Laycon or even an Eloswag would have had that same luck?

In the end, being a fine boy with a great body and a shameless sexuality and playfulness helps A LOT, otherwise Allysyn would have stuck with brainy and introspective Adekunle. Bella even smiled more with silly Giddyfia than Sheggz, which was why he quickly put a stop to that friendship.
