People are just hating on 2 face for no reason. Unstoppable was a very good album. Look at tracks like Free, Go Down There, Jungle Don Mature, I Sing, Appreciate It, Take It Back etc. 2 face is arguably the best lyricist in the R&B world in Naija. The minds criticizing him are not mature enough to accept that music is not all about party. |
Mode Nine's 'A Hero Comes Home' has good lyrics but I don't like the flow and the beat. Nas' 'Hero' however was a better song cos it's beat was tight, chorus sweet and the lyrics were good too. Imo |
@sophienwa If I was to go by your way, then all Igbo songs or Hausa don't have meanings too. Your being Yoruba might not have anything to do with the song having a meaning, but your understanding Yoruba does. I have already told you the meaning, so that's enough enlightenment. Your point on direct translation doesn't even hold water. Every language does that so why are you singling this one out? If I was Spanish learning English and I listen to Will.I.Am's Heartbreaker , I'd think Will.I.Am was a serial killer who carved people's hearts out. Won't I? Understand what you criticize. |
Please does anybody know how to hack Nokia E51 with the new upgrade (300.34.56) |

I was wondering if anybody has or has seen am Opera 4.2 mod with multi tabs. Any contributions? |
@Flambo You guys should stop putting words in that OlodoRabati writing. He is not as smart as you think he is. He is just an over educated 'illiterate'. How can a professional journalist write something like this. How can he blame this generation for all his children's atrocities? You can look at music through two perspectives: economic and creative view. Economic in the sense that these artists are tryna make money. Most of them have suffered and they see their talents as the only way out. In Abati's days, the economy was still ok so music wasn't really rushed into. But now, we all know how the economy is, which explains why youths want to make it by all means. Do you blame them? That's the economic view. The creative aspect is where you can say there is a problem. There might be a lot of untalented artists in the industry, nobody is denying that, but you can't divorce this from the fact that, they just want to make money. It's almost the same as the 'Yahoo Yahoo' case. It is illegal but would you place the blame solely on the perps. No! That writing would have been a masterpiece if not for Rabati's blind jealousy. |
Tunnex I saw your mail. Thank you very much. Concerning mobget, anybody that knows how to use it should help. Thanx in anticipation |
@Bamsyle What? Now that's messed up. Sauron should know better |
@sophienwa Why do you people comment on something you know nothing about? Are you even Yoruba? 'Ori e Fokasibe' is a street slang that means you are an expert at what you do. Don't just slander songs when you don't know the meaning of it. Try and find out, which is what the poster is doing |
Does anybody know how to download with opera mini 4.2 multi. Please help |
@tunnex I've resent it. Please could you check it now |
Please could you post your email so I could resend it. Maybe i sent it to the wrong addy. Thanx |
The person who created this thread must know nothing about Blaise. |
@tunnex Did you see my mail? |
@bumsquad Lol. Omo na wa o. You still never understand. If that's your own understanding of hip hop then you are not worth my time. Anybody could talk about their environment or whatever but you need skill to bring it across well. Infact I'ma go listen to Rasqie spit about his hood. That's okay, right? What you don't know is no matter what a rapper talks about in rap, his skill will make the effect harder. I'm not saying he should spit 'wack poetry' but just know how to rhyme and make words sound good. Sometimes, dude even forgets to rhyme. And remember, Ill Bliss started off as a hardcore, which he is still claiming, or did you hear him for the first time on Aye Po Gan? A hardcore rapper who cannot rhyme is inexcusable. And 'Ill Bliss is a success'?, on what basis? Plus please I'm not a Nine fan so cut the crap. Now run along and go listen to your hip pop |
@Chrisbam please I'm still having trouble downloading with opera 2.06. Do you use your default IP with the trick or it's different? |
@bombsquad Don't you understand the topic? Cos I could swear Plies is successful. We are not talking about what they have achieved but their ability to rap. Do you understand now? And stop with that 'Go and do your own' swag. That's so childish. Be logical with your defense. Plus you dey yearn say 9 dey broke, if dejiariyo and javalove catch you, Lol |
@Chrisbam Thanx for your mail the other day. I downloaded with it a couple of times but anytime I want to download now, it keeps giving me EDGE errors. Please could you tell me the reason for this and how I can start downloading again? Thanx |
@Chrisbam God bless you to the fullest. I saw your mail and all the tricks you gave were working. That was the peak of selflessness right there. I don't also mind having your number cos I will like to send you something.thanx again @Draco I saw your mail too. That was so good. I no know say correct guys still like this for NL. Please keep up the good work and let us have your number too |
Omo, guys dey vex o! Osasp, I never knew you had a rift with rapjunkie before. But abeg, isn't there a way of settling this dispute? You guys should forget the past and just move up na. |
Is Nairaland a nursery now? Where babies start to cry because you don't like their toys? This bennyblak must be the most ignorant poster ever. You have to understand that some people have totally different standards which might be very high. This is not about knocking someone's hustle, this is just about knowing how to rap. And you are talking about supporting local artists. Should most Americans support Soulja Boy cos he is American? Or I should change my favorite rapper to Sky B? Lmao. Learn how to answer people when they don't like what you like. Build up your self esteem, boy. Personally, I like Ill Bliss songs but his rhymes, hell no. He has a good ear for beats but his rhyme structure is so messed up. I can't say the same for Rapman, M.I, O.D, Nine, Blaise etc. And please rapjunkie, that osasp dude has already dug his own grave. Some people just don't know the impression they give when they type some things on NL. Bennyblak, did you see how chronique responded, learn from that. |
@Chrisbam I didn't see any fish in my email o! Please help. My email is razordigital2002@yahoo.co.uk. Please notice it's .co.uk not .com. Or you can send it to razor4sure@hotmail.com. Thank you for your selfless assistance |
