We are our own problem, how can somebody calling the Nysc DG, just to remind him of Ramadan. Is camping a religious affairs or national. |
Conversation between a PCM and the DG ME: good evening sir. DG : How are you? Me: I'm fine sir, sir right now you are my father. DG: Yes! ME: sir, I've stayed at home for two years and my parents are becoming more and more worried about me serving, sir, i have 3 questions to ask you sir and I hope you will be truthful to me sir DG: I'm listening Me: 1. When are we expected in camp sir? DG: By grace of God, if not this week we are entering, the upper week Me: OK sir 2. if we are to camp by next week, it will run into Ramadan period and.... cuts me short DG: that's another thing I cannot answer, because you know that Ramadan is gonna be a problem in the sense that I have to call my management team, to come together, i will now table the problem then they will fix the date, If they say we should do it during the Ramadan no problem we will, but if they say after the Ramadan then it is off my power. all I am saying is that first of all let me collect my logistics before I now call the meeting to hear from them. Are we clear? Me: we are clear sir, he cuts me short again DG: my problem now is if I can get all my logistics on time, the boot, the uniforms, if they finish everything. if it will fall during Ramadan I will ask them can we run it during Ramadan, if they say yes, fine and good, if they say no, we will have to shift it till after Ramadan, depends on them. Me: Sir, after Ramadan will be like 2nd week of July that means we will automatically be batch b. DG : No, it can't be batch b, batch B are not coming till October. even if u reach July, you are still batch A. whatever it is we are going to merge you with stream 1 ME : OK sir 3. there was a message someone sent to me in the morning concerning changing the state of deployment, is that true sir? DG: it is not true, what you have on your call up letter is what we are still going to maintain only that we change the date. that's all. Me: thank you Sir, you've been helpful DG: God bless you |
