Op I want to say a Big thank you for this write-up. If people create businesses in this country instead of looking for Job, the issue of Unemployment would have been minimal. I bleed on the inside when I see family members and friends laid off from their jobs without any fall back options. If anyone wants to be wealthy and financially free, it is not in paid job----- maybe NNPC, CBN or Multinationals--------- can give a semblance of wealth but one will have to wait till month end to get paid and its not transferable to ones children as the Op said. It is for this reason I set out to be on my own from the onset and there is no looking back. |

jagorinho: lovely write up!! I would love to add something, I have friends that run different businesses, but I am concerned about two, one makes snacks and he is big in the business now, he even has sales girls while the other is a barber with many apprentices.
I tend to observe that the one making snacks usually complain about inflation a lot, the price of his inputs (baking products) are always on the high side because of the unstable naira , most times his selling price doesn't really correspond with the percentage increase in inflation because he fears total boycott from his customers but the barber is doing extremely well, on weekends he makes 15-20k daily and 10k on weekdays, and fortunately for him, he does not need to buy or change any of his inputs/barbing materials every time, they are fixed except buying of fuel to generator.
My point is I would really love a business venture that would not be sapping my materials everyday, I won't mind buying everything I need once, so far they will serve me for long before considering replacements for them instead of all these business you have to buy your materials needed every other day, it can be very stressful.
......summary is a baker would need to buy flour, vegetable oil, etc almost every other week but a barber might not change his clipper for six months and the when there is low patronage many snacks are wasted which usually affects the guy's mood but a barber does not really have much to loose on days of low patronage. Good observation. Nice one |

Godsspeed: Those pieces of advise in this writeup are what Facilitators gather people to tell them at a cost, but here we are getting them free of charge , that's why many don't value it. OP thank you so much. I was about saying the same thing you just said. Op God bless you. Op just released valuable info that I have been chewing in my mind day in day out. |

mranova: *UPDATE ON THE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE*
On arrival I went to the School of Postgraduate studies to make enquiries on what to do and what not to do. I already accepted my admission, and printed the receipt and admission letter (I posted procedure in earlier post) If you have already accepted your admission this is what happens when you get to the school.
Make sure you have the listed items in the post prior to this.
1. You will be required to pay #15,000 into the NSUK Microfinance Bank you will pay into same account but in two different tellers (#10,000 for PG dues and #5,000 for Biometric). It was not difficult because the bank was almost empty. It just the distance between PG building and the Bank (if you can walk, fine but you may need to climb a bike for #50).
2. You will come back to the accounts office in the PG building with your payment tellers and you will be issued two separate receipts for the 2 separate payments made (#10,000 & #5,000).
3. You will go to the MIS office in the same building to verify your O'level results. For every result you verify, it's #2,500 for WAEC and #2,000 for NECO (If you are using two results at same time, say WAEC and NECO you will pay #4,500)
4. You proceed to the book shop to pay #3,000 for Journal. A receipt and the Journals will be given to you.
5. Join the three receipts into one sheet and make two photo copies.
6. Proceed to the Administration Office in the same PG building to open a file. (The man is quite friendly).
7. Wait for confirmation to pay fees. Good job. Thanks |

supportnija: Stop telling lies, if it is possible those sixteen numbers will not shown out. Is is not possible without your pin. Don't tell me to send it to you because there is no need. I was with my mechanic few days back, while his account was been emptied in real-time. He showed me the debit alert and I asked him where his ATM card was, he said it has been missing since a week plus. I told him to get his Card blocked immediately. The fraudstars bought airtime with his card without his PIN. |

OK. Reality is settling in gradually, after days of denial. One thing I know about USA is that, their various institutions-_---- built by the hardwork of their founding Fathers---- has created a working system for the country, and that system will take care of itself coming January 20, with or without the full support and cooperation of Trump. |
