There is nothing or need to clarify.

My Perspective on my thread has'nt been solely defined as a wrong practice.

Removing the thermostat is clearly a common practice all over the world, Because something is a common practise, does'nt mean it is correct and vice versa does'nt mean it is wrong.

Sienna, A fully qualified auto professional has clearly enlightened us collectively, my not conflicting with Sienna and concuring with what he's said clearly reflects my positive acknowledgement with his advice.

Siena:
Removing the thermostat from any car isn't a good idea. It simply masks an underlying issue. Have the system pressure tested - an overheating engine could be caused by a myriad of problems - blown head gasket, cracked cylinder head / block, thermostat stuck in the shut position, a clogged radiator, inoperative cooling fan or even the wrong fuel / spark plug grade.

Removing the thermostat will simply make the engine over cool, which is bad. It will increase fuel consumption, as the engine CTS (coolant temperature sensor) will assume the engine's not up to normal operating temperature, and simply inject more fuel in. This will cause premature engine wear, as the excess fuel will wash the oil from the cylinder bores (bore wash).

Get your car checked by a competent engineer, and I don't mean the masquerades by the roadside, who don't know one end of a spanner from the other. Best of luck.

From California, your best bet is Galveston "Houston'(Texas). California certainly has some quality and affordable rides, but its geographical location and proximity to the nearest Lagos bound port is the problem.

Last time I bought a California Car, it cost me $700 to truck it to Texas.
