Truth is your internal memory issue is solvable (big-ups to dev-eleghe (phenomenal scripter), blakstar the fearless, and co)
just post the current status, of ur phone as below:
rooted?:yes/no
custom rom?:yes/no
ext2 partition on sdcard?: yes/no
have a desktop/laptop?: yes/no



Also, I want to also say the success of Gingerbean Aurora couldnt have seen the limelight with out the sacrifice on the part of our able team of devs,beta testers; the likes of,encouraging' Yehmy,dogged' blakstar, emme, wale-santos, and the list goes on, they know themselves.

Abeytown: The aurora is a.perfect design. U do not need link2sd to create sdext2. Follow d instruction as stated by xanders and u r done.

having cruised AURORA for over 24 hours, i have the following observations:
1. GPS doesn't turn on (Question: Is it only me or was it supposed to be part of the changelog?)
2. Security Lock features not usable (PIN, Pattern, Password not stored @ all)
3. Change of Data SIM to SIM 2 hasn't worked for me!

Note, this doesn't in any way change my acknowledgement of the great job done.

Successfully ported and still in awe of its looks, I would miss the settings background of gingerbean 3.0 though, as i would have preferred it to Aurora's.
Anyway, i am Hugely impressed with this project
(i'll be making a donation as soon as i am paid by my oga @ d top 4 sure)

By the way, excellent tutorial you got there xanders,a good teacher u are! Bravo!
be it bad as it can be, even our night schoolers would definately be able to be masters(superusers) of their android devices.

However must now that the left over folder ie app private is virtually and actually empty and as such has had little or no effect on our outcomes hence my satisfaction to let the data folder be.

Anyway gingerbean final is simply outstanding.
I've applied all memory boosting tricks incl elegale's xclusiv method as well as the modified adaptations but lagging had remained persistent. Had to reformat it yesterday after a crash. I decided to tyr something that i have been itching to do since elegale's enlightenment.
Did all about elegale just that i did act on only the app and dalvik cache folders exclusively. Results? Faster booting time with same no of apps as b4 and no noticeable lagging effects . Increased consumption of internal memory but neva to disturbing level, due to untouched data folder. But all the same i am extremely contended.

Click the search icon
Type supersu (note no soace)
from d results, select the first result viz
SuperSu by Chainfire and download it
Hope dis helps

xanders: not necessarily. I did touch on that a post ago. I believe mentioning running Gangstar rio and some other games, on a Tecno N3 with only one partition (fat32). The performance was ok, though when running games like Mass effect infiltrator(MEI), a HD game involving lots of fast moving graphic effects which are "memory eaters" it lagged abit;however, was still playable, and even ran smoothly when few character where around. my guess is with a little overclocking, we might even achieve perfect running. This is not to say that the linuxswap partition is to be done away with, but gives an easy alternative to those who want to run the ginger-bean but find sd-card partitioning a "head-ache", like me

use mini-partition tool and view your memory card, or temporarily install swapper 2 to check..go to setting and select use swap partition, if it success fully creates swap then your definately sure have a swap partition.
the swap partition is essential for the gingerbean boot run-time script to create a memory buffer...which is actually more effective for memory boost than traditional third party-apps like swapper2 and ram expander (PS: no need to install ram boosting apps on this ROM). also, theres a new feature which is the internal sd or emmc(embeded media card); presently, high end android fly an internal as well as an external sd; thanks too gingerbean, we too can fly our own internal sd, albeit jus a meger (16mb), the applications for apps/scripts that require to reside on system memory is a prospect to view.....annnnd..currently, new linking means has been developed (thanks to a named resident Dev) using root explorer, i believe can still be used increase the size of this partition

pls, the archive reports to be corrupted.
And I have used various means to download it, viz, at stretch, break and continue, using default mnger, etc
please upload an uncorrupted version pals, if your version is uncorrupted!
