The death of Hon. Obinna heralded the birth of tension and frustration for Chioma. Every passing day came with its unique drama well scripted and acted by her in-laws. They left no one in doubt that they hated Chioma. The tradition of Umuocha did not spare Chioma either. She had to shave her hair and put on black clothes throughout the mourning period. Vice President Yemi Osibanjo today escaped death after his chopper crash landed in Logo State. Osibanjo and the entire crew members are safe. Senator Musa Abdulkadir was a prominent politician from Nassarawa State. He was the senator representing Nassarawa North in the red chambers of the national assembly. His political career spanned almost two decades and he was highly revered by friends and foes alike. He was a member of the ruling cabal and vocal to the core. Without him endorsing a candidate in his niche, electoral victory was nil. He had served two terms as a member of the house of representatives and also two terms as a member of the Senate. Due to the zoning arrangement in his state, it was not possible for him to go back to the Senate for a third term, he decided to take a shot at the Governorship position. Senator Musa had a beautiful problem in the sense that his contender had a higher political will. His opponent Dr. Hamza Ibrahim was the only impediment that gave Alhaji Musa sleepless nights. The stranger changed his mind about whatever he wanted to do with the briefcase. He kept the briefcase aside. Iqwo regained some strength and tried to get up. The stranger pinned her down again on the bare floor and started to cut Iqwo's neck. Iqwo struggled with him and succeeded in placing her right hand on her neck. The knife started piercing through her flesh and suddenly, she passed out. The stranger looked up and sighted three young men approaching him at the mechanic workshop. It suddenly dawned on him that he has been caught in his wicked act. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him in the opposite direction leaving his briefcase behind. Iqwo and Ofonime gisted all along from the church to where Iqwo alighted along Idoro road. Both of them had gone for a tarry night in their local assembly the previous evening at Odiok Itam. They had been coursemates right from their under graduate days at the University of Uyo. Coincidentally, they met again seven years after graduating at the Redemption Chapel, the two friends bonded like twinnies.
