Iqwo and Ofonime gisted all along from the church to where Iqwo alighted along Idoro road. Both of them had gone for a tarry night in their local assembly the previous evening at Odiok Itam. They had been coursemates right from their under graduate days at the University of Uyo. Coincidentally, they met again seven years after graduating at the Redemption Chapel, the two friends bonded like twinnies. They always sat together at events, wore similar clothes and we're fond of making similar hair styles. Ofonime had gotten a seven figure job through the help of her uncle who was a popular politician immediately after her service year. Iqwo was not that lucky. She had attended series of interviews with nothing to show for it. The closest opportunity she got for a job came as a Greek gift. The managing director of the company wanted her to be his side chick before he would give her an appointment letter. Iqwo declined.
