Yesterday, the witty and famous EFCC twitter handle finally revealed its handler as fast rising rapper, Olufemi Olukayode Adeyemi populary known as Fshaw.


For almost a year, his identity has been kept a secret but yesterday it became necesary to unmask him becasue Femi had been with the EFCC for the past year as a youth corper.


His NYSC programmed wrapped up yesterday and Fshaw has decided to move on from the job to pursue his carrer in music.


It's not clear who will replace him or if the handle will ever be as witty and interesting as it has been in the past year but Femi's career is already kicking off to a flying start. In just a few hours after his identity was unvelied, his twitter followers increased from barely 2,000 to over 13,000.

Sugar consumption is rapidly increasing with less sugar available to serve the growing 191 million populations of the 37 states in Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory.

According to statistics made available by the National Sugar Development Council, the demand for sugar grew from 442,867 metric tonnes from 1995 to about 1,301,494 metric tonnes in 2005 showing an average annual growth rate of 7% while local production accounted for less than 2%.
The 2015 statistics reveals that 1,499,724 tonnes of sugar was consumed with a low production of 15,000 tonnes and a whooping import index of 1,484,724, at the cost of over $552 million signifying a rise to about 1.5mmt while local production remained unseeded.

This is a great challenge for Nigeria as a developing country as the low sugar production has rendered her underprivileged of benefits derivable from an active sugar sector which is; the annual drain on the nation’s foreign exchange earnings, loss of hundreds of thousands of employment opportunities and food insecurity arising from sugar import dependence.

The statistics increased by the end of 2016 and this encouraged the National Sugar Development Council (NSDC) to reemphasize its position to ensure that Nigeria attains at least, 70% self-sufficiency in her sugar requirement within the shortest possible time and even export to earn foreign exchange.

To this end, BUA Group launched a $300 million investment in Kwara State known as the Lafiagi Sugar Company, (LASUCO) in line the Federal Government backward Integration Policy (BIP) to end importation of raw sugar by 2020.

The Supreme Court, on Monday affirmed Godwin Obaseki as the governor of Edo State.
The apex court gave the ruling while dismissing the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the last governorship poll in the state, Ize-Iyamu challenging the election of Obaseki for lacking in merit.



The judgment of the Supreme court is coming a month after the court of appeal sitting in Benin city, the Edo state capital upheld the election of Godwin Obaseki as governor of the state.

The Supreme Court also disclosed that it would give its reasons for the judgment on July 24, 2017.

The Office of the Governor of Edo State has in the past few days been inundated with various public comments, criticisms and (in some cases) opportunistic posturing by the political opposition party regarding a “Grazing Bill” currently said to be under consideration by the Honourable Members of the Edo State House of Assembly.

The Government would wish to make the following facts clear to concerned members of the public:

(i) The Government has absolutely no knowledge of or participation in the said bill particularly as same is certainly not an Executive Bill and did not emanate from Government House;

(ii) Preliminary enquiries indicate that the said “Grazing Bill” is a private member bill currently undergoing consideration by the Legislature in furtherance of its power and responsibility in that regard.

Whilst the Executive arm fully respects and recognizes the vital role of the Legislature in the Law making process, Government is concerned at the fact that no prior consultation or engagement was initiated with other arms of Government regarding such a sensitive issue.

Sad: Man's Entire Family Wiped Out By Alleged Members of His Gang over Loot Sharing (graphic video)

According to the person who sent us this story, the sad incident happened somewhere in Ijebu Ode, the Alpha pictured below is alleged to be a leader of a gang and he is the one who does the preparation of charm for his members before they go on operations. The story has it, that they recently carried out an operation that raked in about N40m, which was entrusted into the hands of their leader (the Alpha) for sharing, but rather than sharing the money as agreed, the Alpha deposited the entire N40m into his account and invited members his gang for dinner where he poisoned and killed two members of the gang, unfortunately for him one escaped and reported to others who returned to take revenge.
Source says, the Alpha boasted that even if they killed him, they were not going to recover the money in his account that wife and children would enjoy the money when his gone, this angered his gang members and they decided to tie him up and murdered his wife and four children before killing him.

Too bad some people are power drunk in Nigeria. According to an eyewitness who sent the story to us, a former son of a Nigerian commissioner of Police yesterday smatched the windscreen of a man's car at Transcorp Hilton Hotel at Abuja.



The guy who claimed the man;s driver scratched his Jaguar, alighted from his car with his friends and launch a direct attack on the occupant of the car and immediately sped off. The matter is said to have been reported to the Maitama Police Station, while the man is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

It is exactly one year that an Abuja-based business woman, Charity Aiyedgbon was declared missing by her Facebook friends. Charity, popularly known as ‘Chacha’, is said to have gone missing since the 9th of May, 2016 and family, friends and Security Agencies said to be working to unravel the mystery behind her sudden disappearance.

Speculations on the possible whereabouts of the 44-year-old mother of four, also known as Deepdeal Chacha Dehammer were rife.

First, a Lagos-based lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye said he had overwhelming evidence that the missing Charity was dead, accusing her erstwhile husband, David Aiyedogbon of having a hand in her disappearance; an allegation he posted on his Facebook group, The Due Process Advocates.

Reacting to Ugwuonye’s allegation, former husband of the missing woman, Mr. David Aiyedogbon washed his hands over the disappearance of the lady and wrote his accuser, through his lawyers, demanding an apology, failure which he would seek legal redress.

The letter titled: “Defamation of the character of David Aiyedogbon; demand for apology,” signed by his lawyer, Obiora Illo esq (Ogbulafor Chambers) and made available to newsmen, expressly states: “It is our instruction to demand an unqualified apology from you to our client through our chambers for the defamatory publications you have made of and concerning our client.”

Also, addressing newsmen in Abuja, Mr. Aiyedogbon urged the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris to investigate the allegation against him, describing it as “cruel, criminal and untrue”, stressing that his estranged wife Charity left their matrimonial home on the 28th of May, 2014, noting that since then, he had neither heard from her, nor had any dealings with her.
