Nairaland GeneralRe: 24 Ways To Be Successful In Life by Gheritage(m): 11:24pm On Sep 10, 2016
Wow...I've been following these steps knowingly or unknowingly tell them to also invest their money on Global Mutual Aid Fund MMM...that's what is rocking in Nigeria nowadays...inbox me to know about it u will be glad u did. 08035481316 our future is secured. God bless you for the insight bro
johnsmhelia15:
When I got this, it was simply too good for me alone to read and be blessed! It's a MUST read for self development!

1. Make friends with successful people and occasionally buy them gift and surprise them with lunch because successful people always give and hardly get, so when you give them, they value the gift a lot.

2. Get a mentor and follow his instructions and respect the relationship. Never beg your mentor for money or disrespect his or her privacy.

3. Make new positive friends as often as possible and ensure you keep the communication line open. Create a network of friends and not just connections.

5. Show kindness to everyone. Some small boys today will be big boys tomorrow. The biggest dog in the neighborhood was once a puppy. And keep the information/secret to yourself.

6. Always plan ahead and be proactive. He that plans the future work less in the future.

7. Listen to speeches and messages from great teachers. Both religious and educational.

8. Attend seminars and training on any area you need to improve yourself. Train the trainer, personal development, public speaking, sales etc.

9. Have the habit of keeping a pen and a writing pad handy because ideas come in the form of flashes. The smallest pen is bigger and better than the biggest brain.

10. Make sure at every point in time you are reading a book. If you spend 20 minutes reading daily, for 52 weeks you would have consumed 1,000,000 words.

11.Stay away from television as much as possible. You can watch educational channels. Men with big TV sits in front of them to watch men with big library.

12 Put control over your mouth, never say evil of any man, what you are not certain of should not be said. Say good of all men.

13. Always show appreciation for any good deed you received.

14. Always help someone in need.

15. Live a debt free life. What you can’t pay cash for is not your size.

16. Give out loans that you can part with as gift, so that you don’t destroy your business and relationship.

17. Create legitimate multiple source of income.

18. Save at least 10 percent of your income.

19. Invest a portion of your income. And be patient to see it grow. If what you have in your hands is not good to be called a harvest then it’s a seed, sow it.

20. Keep a good financial record of all income and expenses, so you won’t ask later “where did my money go”

21. Be involved in community service. Control traffic, free lesson class for students etc.

22. Keep getting better on your daily goals and dream, develop yourself on them and make sure you get to the top 10 % of your industry.

23. Make sure you engage in exercise. It keeps your brain alert and your body fit to enjoy your success.

24. Pray often, and know that for every success, there is a stronger being that made it possible.

yeson:
The Federal Ministry of Finance yesterday assured that the Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) initiated under the administration of former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, will not be stopped due to the current difficult financial situation in the country.

The Director of the Graduate Internship Scheme in the Ministry of Finance, Denis Chukwu, represented by an Assistant Director in the Ministry, Mr. Vitalis Egemba, told beneficiaries at the exit programme of the graduate internship scheme in Yenagoa, that though the country is experiencing difficult times in finances, the President Buhari led administration will not stop the programme.

According to Egemba, the Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) has since inception demonstrated high prospects for job creation and social protection of the Nigerian Youths,”the programme presents an opportunity for graduate interns to gain employment in organizations where they worked, in other organisations or self-employment”.

Egemba said though with the minimal monthly stipend paid to graduate interns, beneficiaries have demonstrated high prospects for achieving the social protection and inclusive growth objective of Government,” the idea is to prospect for skills building and job creation, adding that the scheme has developed special programs for non-oil sector”

He said the Graduate Internship Scheme managers have entered into special partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organisations to have graduates trained, mentored and supported in areas such as; non-oil export trade, ICT, agriculture, community health, construction, financial inclusion, amongst others.

God bless you for this info sir
Jethrolite:
Do not be too worried, it will be OK. This is what you should do, go through the community posts online and collect people that share the same interest with you emails. It is kind of late already so you should collect as many mails as possible. Then write an email to them, do not write a long mail just something short requesting them to be your buddy. I believe looking for a buddy close to you is a mistake, I may be wrong but even the platform is designed for you and your buddy to mail each other and nothing is said about meeting physically. Here's a sample mail.
_____________________________________________
Subject: Be My Buddy.

Hello, I am Mikel Obi from Jigawa state. I am into gum Arabic harvesting. I believe having a Buddy is not location influenced but rather something based on shared interest while communication can be through social media - whatsapp, BBM, email and gsm calls. Since we are both into ago allied business, we are a match.

Be my buddy so we can forge a strong alliance and make a success of our endeavors at AMI. Please reply urgently to this mail if interested.

Looking forward to your response.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now this is how you address it, assuming you got the contact of 30 people, take one email and put it in the email address area, take the other 29 emails and put them in BCC(blind carbon copy). This way you create the impression to the receiver that you sent the mail to them alone.

I assure you, if you do it like that, you will receive a response from all of them. Most of them may already have buddies but you could still be lucky and get a person. Just keep repeating the process of collecting emails and sending this same mail out until you get people willing to be your buddy.

If you are still worried about having a buddy close to you physically or that lives in your state then these are the functions of a buddy and nowhere was anything said about having to meet in person.
___________________________________________
1. At the most basic level you are the person that (buddy's name) has elected to discuss some of the key concepts in this course and work through the practical activities for each lesson

2. Secondly, they've elected you as a person that they trust and respect to hold them accountable for their ongoing effort in the course – to remind them why they want to put in the work and accomplish this goal – and to help them ensure that they continue to put these lessons to work in their role as a manager.

3. Finally, you will be asked to review their final assignment and the brief report that they submit alongside it, to ensure that they have made a concerted effort to complete it as instructed. You will be alerted by email when the assignment is ready and will simply be asked to confirm or reject their submission.

This is important because together, these 3 roles will help timchosen to get started on the path to effective and responsible management, and help them get recognized and rewarded for their progress through AMI.

This is part of the official email from AMI buddy acceptance. You should also know that AMI is not in Nigeria but Kenya and this process was outsourced completely to them. By the grace of God when we scale through this process, our business with AMI ends and we deal with the EDC of Pan Atlantic University, Lagos.

Congratulations to everyone shortlisted for the 2nd batch. For answers to some questions you may have, refer to the beginning of this thread.

Use the two weeks before the training to organise your schedule and choose a good data plan as well as a web browser. If you set aside about an hour everyday for your training, I'm sure you will smile to the finish line.

Once again, congratulations.
