Erling Haaland has revealed some of the food he eats to ensure his body is in perfect condition, including heart and liver.

-Haaland eats 'heart & liver'
-Consumes 6,000 calories a day
-Has a pre-match meal cooked by his dad for home games

Haaland has made an electrifying start to life in the Premier League, netting 15 times already this season. The secret behind his incredible start may lie in his diet, which he disclosed recently - including eating heart!
In an a documentary named 'Haaland: The Big Decision' the striker revealed some of the more bizarre elements of his diet, including heart and liver. He said: "You [other people] don't eat this, but I am concerned with taking care of my body. I think eating quality food that is as local as possible is the most important. People say meat is bad for you, but which? The meat you get at McDonald's? Or the local cow eating grass right over there? I eat the heart and the liver."
The Norwegian striker eats a home-cooked lasagne made by his dad, Alfie, before every home game, and manager Pep Guardiola joked about the meal after their victory over Southampton. He said: "We can make an offer for Erling’s father to cook for us. If this is the secret of Erling’s goals, I will convince [chairman] Khaldoon [Al Mubarak] to bring him here! But I don’t think there’s just one secret."
Haaland reportedly consumes around 6,000 calories a day to keep himself in tip-top shape. He also incorporates some rather odd practices into his daily routine, including the filtration of his water and getting sunlight in his eyes immediately after waking up. What ever he does, it seems to be working!

It's been reported that four people have been injured at Chile's Monumental Stadium after metal structures fell during club Colo Colo's training session on Friday.

Despite it not being a competitive match, the stands were full of fans with flares, passionately chanting on their team. Some overly eager supporters decided to climb onto pillars located just behind the sitting section where advertising signs stood, to try and get a better view. It could have been the weight of the fans which contributed to the structure's collapse, but it's more likely to have been caused by pre-existing infrastructural problems.

After part of the stand fell, the club decided to suspend training and players returned to the dressing rooms.

Official reports have yet to be released detailing the exact number of casualties, though numbers are believed to be low. There will likely be an investigation into how the stadium collapsed so suddenly.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Thursday, urged all candidates in the 2023 general elections, including the likes of Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Bola Tinunub, among others, to strive to make their campaigns issue-based, clean and violence-free.


Jonathan made the call in his virtual goodwill message read in Abuja at the signing of the first National Peace Accord on the 2023 general elections, which was attended by presidential candidates and their parties.

He also called on candidates, their promoters and supporters to exercise restraint and to run their campaigns based on issues that affected Nigerians.

Jonathan said, “We are at a critical stage in our national life where we have no choice but to promote national cohesion, love and hope in order to make the desired progress.

“We cannot afford to continue to play politics of bitterness and division along ethnic and religious lines. This is because such kind of politics portends great danger to our unity, growth and the sustenance of our democracy.

“We have to be mindful of the destructive impact of hate speech, fake news and mindless propaganda, especially in a clime where the fabric of unity and stability still needs to be strengthened.

“I charge the candidates, their promoters and supporters to exercise restraint and seek to run their campaigns based on issues that affect our people.

“They should, by all means, avoid needless attacks on personalities, and use of abusive language for those are the elements that cause chaos and crisis during elections.’’
