4. Little hint: Russian federation and Ukraine didn't exist before 1991. Unfortunately you are from the generation which thinks countries were created by God and have always existed. In my lifetime I saw Ukraine and russian federation come into existence alongside a bunch of other countries born from the disintegration of one country (USSR)

The coup you mentioned of is a civilian uprising where thousands of Ukrainian stood up against the Kremlin puppet government in Kiev and as espected Ukrainian leaders heed the call of its populace choosing to sign with the EU not Russia. What do you want the leaders to do, still side with Russia despite growing domestic unrest?
Oh you might say US is responsible for the unrest or swaying the perception on Ukrainian people, that itself is a credit to US geopolitics maneuver and a failing Russia influence. Then it's whose fault if a resolution choose to be pro EU?

This will result to a back and forth. Russia has no right to annex any part of Ukraine. By rule of UN convention the entire geographic landscape and map of Ukraine is under it sovereignty to do as they like, govern as pleased and allie with any foreign partner.
Russia is clearly the aggressor. You claimed Russia has backers but majority of Ukrainian clear despises Putins invasion.
Similar logic can also be used by Isreal by claiming an old relinquished historic land because they can bully whoever occupied it.

Just in the first two moths of Israel's attack on Gaza, more civilians had died in Gaza than the number of civilian deaths in Ukraine for 2 years of fighting (I think it was 10 times more).
The civilian death rate in Palestine is between 12 times and 120 times that in Ukraine.

But I would guess that an Ukrainian life is worth that of 120 Palestinians in your mind.
