I think books in Nigeria see USSR as combination of countries and not a single nation but I get your point. I can't remember correctly sha but I think a government book defined USSR as a group of independent nations coming together for a common goal with each of them managing their own resources and the center been weak

You see several countries today which used to be part of the soviet union, then you assume that the soviet union was a bunch of countries coming together into a union...

I've said this several times but the resistance to education is strong amongst Nigerians (it's like these guys love stupidity so much), the soviet union was just one country, it broke up into several former components which then became countries themselves.

There was a country called the "Russian empire". It went through a revolution and a civil war which saw it lose some lands, then it renamed itself "soviet union" without the lands it had lost. Then that country broke up again and the successor state called itself "russian federation".

Many Nigerians descend from slaves who were brought to our shores by the Europeans , but you can't tell them that, even with proof. Doing proper historical research is an act of bigotry to some nigerians.

Man Ukraine had one of the best defended airspaces in the world before the war started, and that is because of how the soviet union saturated Ukraine with s300, Russia had to blast all that air defense before it would be possible to send bombers into the battlefield.

It is a fighter jet but it's main purpose is to train pilots. That doesn't mean it can not engage in a dog fight. This jet is equipped with advanced technologies and if it was useless it wouldn't still be in use by some of the European countries that I mentioned.

If you want your pilots to be familiar with the maneuver abilities of the f-13, 16 .... This is the plane you want.
You said it in your comment that it used to support infantry, how do you support infantry if not by air support fire, and a plane that can perform reconnaissance is a fighter jet.
