I told my uncle in 2005 when I did my IT in the state at the time. My uncle was building his house there and I was his part time engineer there. I didn't pay attention to those details because I wasn't really into politics and nationhood like I am today.

Even my friend then was always critical of me whenever I say they are igbos because they spoke a dialect of Igbo. He will always make it evident that he didn't like being called one and that he wasn't Igbo.

Europeans actually want other Africans to think that we aren't black so that other Africans like you could not take our achievement as an achievement of Africa. The ones who built that big Egyptian civilization were black. Many Africans have achieved many things but Europeans destroyed many. There are many Mali and Ethiopian heritages stolen and kept in Britain. Our statue of Axum was stolen and kept in Italy as it belongs to them.
