STORING YOUR PRODUCTS

As i said earlier, the goods or products will be waybill to you; you'll know how to store it by yourself. But this is only adviced where you'll want to be doing the deliveries of your goods to customers yourself without the use of courier company.

But if you'll be using courier company, they'll store your goods for you; since the goods is already shipped directly from seller to their warehouse.

I'll later outlined the trusted waybill companies to do business with across Nigeria.

Before I move to selling your products, if you've got any questions, kindly ask.

EXTERNAL PROCUREMENT AGENTS:

They are agents who have already created good relationship with the internal procurement agent and they already know which is fast and reliable.

•Also they know or have concrete relationship with a reliable courier company,

•They are in charge of paying for the goods to sellers on 1688, ship and deliver it to you (through waybill) or send it to a trusted courier company.

I'll advice all newbies to patronize the external procurement agents ...

Many external procurement agents are here on nairaland. But i trust and confidently recommend Chrisvicmall services. You can go to their website in the screenshot below to find how you can do business with them.

Ive always use them since i started this business, and i already made some negotiations with them on Monday this week and by Thursday, i going to have my goods in Lagos. So check them out through their website and contact them.

There are internal and external procurement agents ..

INTERNAL PROCUREMENT AGENT

They are agents who already have relationship with the seller (on 1688) and the warehouse to which the goods will be shipped in Lagos.

You only have to notify them if you'll be coming to receive the goods, waybill it or you want it to be shipped to a courier store - in this case you have to send the Tracking Number of the courier warehouse you wish your products to be sent to the internal procurement agents, you'll also send them the quantity w.r.t 1kg of your products (i.e total sum of kg off all the goods you wish to ship). Then after making your payment to the internal procurement agents your goods will be shipped to the warehouse store of the courier company according to the shipping method.

Get the link of the product you want to import and forward it to a procurement agent.

Remember to include the product details ie qty, colour size (shoes, shirts etc) you want.
Pay for the goods in Naira to the internal agent's Nigeria account Number. REMEMBER: Shipping fee is deducted according to the total weight in kg of your goods

The agent will help you buy the goods and shipped to you or the courier warehouse. Note: You only pay for
shipping when your products get to Nigeria.

Remember everything is done on whatsapp. So you only need to chat agents up to relate and develop good relationship with them;

Normal shipping charge: $4.5/kg and it takes 10-14days

Types of Shipping

� Express and normal delivery

Express delivery > here you'll get your goods within 48 hrs . Faster but more expensive

� normal delivery (Cargo)> takes 7-14 days . Cheaper anyway

BUYING THE PRODUCTS

1688 is a wholesale Chinese online store, it's a site used by traders or marketers to buy goods in bulk. So it is adviced to buy at least 10 to 20 pieces of any product from the site so as to be at an advantage of shipping cost and profit sales margin of the products. 1688 is not meant for Nigerians so you don't need to register on the site.

As soon as you've successfully search out the product you wanna buy; Immediately the product page opens with the product picture, you will have to click on the url to the product. And copy it. I.e copy the link of the product ..

Once you copy it you will have to send it to a 1688.com procurement Agent that will help you pay for the product in yuan currency, and then you will have to pay the company In naira. You pay Into the company official Nigerian account, while they help you pay in naira.

So what this means is that you don't have to worry about USD/naira exchange rate as yuan to naira is just 50.72naira.

14 × 50.72 = 710.08

N3000 - N710.08 = N2,289.92 giant profit
