Thanks for the detailed analysis/tutorial. He failed to take a whole lot of things into consideration while developing the site. I guess it's a template poorly customized. Worst is the page isn't "dynamic". Appears bad on mobile and can be said to be scary. He needs to go back to basic HTML and CSS training.

Nothing really so bad about the page. Just that it looks very basic and white like something designed by a new HTML student.

Again, what's the "view content" at the top for? The time there is totally unnecessary as it does not even count down on mobile, just static and boring. The Canvas menu button makes a mess of your work as it doesn't trigger properly on mobile because you failed to use some Javascript commands there. I suggest you remove it.

What's the phone number for? People won't copy that. You said CLICK HERE TO ORDER and then you lead them to another page with a phone number to WhatsApp? No one has time for all that stress.

You should have an order form right there on the first page. And if you want them to WhatsApp then the CLICK HERE TO ORDER must be a hyperlink that triggers the WhatsApp app on their phone. So when people click on the link it should just open WhatsApp. People don't have time to copy phone numbers, save to their phone and start searching WhatsApp. Make it easy for them.

Also, if you are going to add a phone number for calls, be sure to add a "tel" attribute to the number, so that tapping on the number will immediately trigger a phone call.

And since facebook is very very user driven,
they want to protect their users - which is far far

Their users are the business actually... So
facebook has the responsibility to protect them

In fact, personally I tried so many times to
advertise a stretch mark product two weeks
ago and all my ads weren't approved... Even
though I tried every method I have used to get
my ads approved no matter what I sold...
Facebook didn't approve my ad.

So I dropped it totally and moved on.

Recently, A few Nigerians doing the ecom
business who sell health, wellness, fitness and
been beauty products have gotten their ad
accounts permanently banned.

So, for now... I will advice you stay away from
selling health, wellness, fitness and certain
beauty products so your ad account won't be
banned permanently or even your business
manager account

If you want to play smart, know it that facebook
is smarter... Way smarter than you - Trust me

But, I believe that there must be a way around
this certainly.

But let us just stay cool for now.

So what kinda products should you start
selling?



.
Convenience products. Safety products.
Technology products. Accessories.
.



In the categories above, find:
.



- Products that help people save time.
- Products that help people do things easily.
- Products that help people save cost.
- Products that help people do something faster
- Products that help people do something
better etc etc
.



Use google to know what these categories of
products really are. (Do small research work, e
no dey kill )



.
Then find normal, everyday challenges in
Nigeria such products can solve.
.



Next, find a product that solves that problem
that is selling very well in the US, UK, Canada
etc... Make sure that the product is not sold
here in Nigeria ooo
.



Bring a few quantity to start with and sell here
using a Sales Funnel and Killer offer. Create
high perceived value about the product without
being hypey (So you can sell for a high price
)



.
Stay away from making extravagant promises
in your ads, Landing pages, and sales pages.
Simply Focus on what the product does and
how it will actually benefit the user.

but little advise to you and all other importers especially the newbies is the system , when dealing with agent be patient , find the one you can work with, working with agent need relationship and understanding, not about looking for the best agent...

About ordering directly on Alibaba, lemme quickly share my experience.
I saw an item I wanted to buy. The price is 1.28 USD-2.65 USD per piece. So I sent an inquiry to the seller telling him of my intentions of purchasing above the MOQ. He replied by telling me a piece of the item is 6 USD! Something that's 2 USD on their product page?

I do not understand, don't you think the seller is trying to scam me?

I am very glad you responded.
1. I had earlier complained that the person who contacted me after I filled my form stopped responding because I asked a few question. Called his line and someone else picked it saying he was busy knowing fully well that if payment isn't made in 48 hours the commitment fee would be forfeited. I felt that was a desperate act. Luckily I reached out to the customer care person for new users who later place my order.
2. After payment no confirmation message was sent I had to call to ask why only then did I get a confirmation.
3. Payment was made 17/09/19 but no form of communication. Not untill I had a chat with your customer service provider before a mail was sent to confirm payment 18/09/18.
On the 26/09/19 which was 8 days after I placed the order, still no info on tracking or anything I again reached out to the customer to know if I wasn't suppose to get tracking number. Only then did he tell me my items had not left China, and that some items where refunded. At that point I was already disappointed. I had to ask him if I had not reached out won't I have been informed items were refunded. Then he sent a tracking number which didn't work.
Again I asked if I could send new links to make up for the refunded items but was told I would pay another 5% for them. At this point I got a bit confused. You collect 5% as your procurement fee, now you re not procuring somethings let me replace them you still want to collect another procurement fee.
4. Tracking number status: no order for this number. 02/10/19 I am told it's a wrong tracking number only after I spoke to the agent. Please how has this been a satisfactory experience?
Lastly, I ordered 11 items, 6 get refunded. My order is over 30,000 from my calculation I am getting a refund of over 20,000 to me that the majority of the order.



I am saying all of this so you can improve the overall service. As a 1st time user, not getting proper follow up after order is placed knowing fully well I loose my commitment fee make it look like someone is trying to rip me off.
Not getting a confirmation for payment signals frauds.
Not getting follow up on purchase signals unprofessionalism.
I have customers already waiting for items, I didn't know there was a refund on. According to your info, items take 10-12 days for delivery. With items still in China after 8 days there should be some kind of feedback telling your customers the state of their items. I use AliExpress and Alibaba. The moment you make payment you are told to wait for confirmation, then item has left warehouse, item handed to China air, item in transit, bla bla bla...... U have to keep people informed not me calling every time before I am get info on the status of order.

ma i have gone through your profile , 2 of your item got refunded not most as prescribe here , Note some seller take days to inform us that items not available, and we can tell you the item is refund when the seller successfully refund us , as for 5% , we dont refund if the your order is refund.. it not our fault that the item got refunded , and remember we buy from the link you send us. i dont understand why you say customer care is zero, they did not respond to you or which pls ?
