3. After application closes, the Dept of Military Secretary, Army HQ, shortlists 20 people (dont ask me the criteria, na naija) each for DSSC and SSC per state and the federal capital for interview. When the 'chosen ones' report for interview, the processes begin: credentials screening, medicals, 3km endurance race and finally facing the armed forces selection board. From there, the board shortlists 5(mostly) each for DSSC and SSC per state and d FCT to report for training as officer cadets.

dssc and SSC are open to both civilian and militry men who joined d army wt o'level or nd, but now they av read more and av gotten 1st degree or Hnd certificate, this category dont need to attend nysc to d certificate, because they av understand military stoff. They are called SERVING MILITARY MEMBER.
While those who are not in d military b4 must av nysc, these category is called LESS SERVING MILITARY MEMBER.

Yes they require it, even u must attach it while filling the form.
Those compulsory certificate that you must upload are;
1. Birth certificate
2. State of origin
3. First Degree certificate
4. NYSC Certificate.
U can also upload other certificate like NIM etc.

U can still register bro, best of luck dear.

-If dis decision were taking to scrab out UTME and NECO, it will cause these;
1. far distinctn btw reach and poor.
2. Increase in Unemployment i.e neco & utme staffs
3. Nigeria education will nt av standand.
4. The children of reach people will not attend secondary school or nt finish it b4 proceed to university. (I.e most of reach men children dont finish pry sch b4 moving to secondary sch. thereby most of them has no pry6 certificate).
5. Level of curruption will increase.
6. illitracy level will increase (i.e the children of the poor will nt go to sch again because they will nt av money to bribe university officials).
7. Increase in crime rate
etc.
Pls FG shoud for God's sake reverse this dissaster decision.

emmanuel4fire: So what you mean is that there will not be aptitude text they will select at random before medicals? I don't think so. I believe there will be written text, then shortlisting of about 20 candidates per state then before medical screening to select 5 candidates or more per state.

there would nt be any writen test b4 shortlisting of 20 people / state. Just Pray and Trust God for Mirracle.

According to those that did it last yr, they said that in the last selection is only 4 person 4 per state which my name is number one in my state for 2013 NA DSSC and SSC recruitment. It has been signed.

I called Ecobank at Isheri Road, Ogba Ikeja and they refered me to Ecobank beside Alade market, Allen Ikeja. The man in charge of the form said the site is not opening and that I should come on tuesday next week.
Those in other states should inform me if they need the form so that I can give them Ecobank customer care number in a branch closer to them so that they can call and make enquiries first instead of spending transport to different banks. Thanks.

phemywise: Stay there abd be decievin ursef, wait till april naw wen banks wld av started hoardin the pin or wen u might av congestion on the registration portal. For the serious guys here my friend was the first to register nationwide 2day. I got the pin after from the ecobank at onipanu. So guys try there 2moro let's c. Let us kno aw far.
