very true. but I think education goes beyond grades. its more of individual development n capacity building grades should not be used as a yast ic to quantity productivity. |
In Nigeria as in most developing African countries, it is generally believed that an average Nigerian student can only boost his/her CGPA at beginners level of 100 n 200. having received such orientation before and on entry into tertiary institutions, most students tend to accept their fate as it may good or bad on attaining higher levels which is belived to have little or no impact on individuals CGPA. this backdrop has led to a decline in ambitious n healthy competition among undergraduates, ushering in a creeping decline as regards learning behavioural patterns and general student performances in pursuit of their btech, bsc n ba degrees. this can evidently be decoded from the quality of final year students thesis/projects, where certain students state objectives without providing answers to problems talk more of contributing to knowledge having the mentality of just writing final year projects to fulfil graduation requirement. thereby defeating the purpose of education. this and manymore adverse effect can only be averted by a change of orientation whereby students are motivated to put in more effort not withstanding current CGPA's as education is more about learning n contributing to existing knowledge. what's your take on this. |
Mind u am not against preventive measures o. But remember we are in d last days and bible makes it clear that strange ailments will come. But in d midst of it all he will be with us. Bathing with salt to me sounds like spiritual cleansing. Taking account of history Ebola was fist discovered in 1976, Ebola (named after the Ebola River in Zaire) first emerged in Sudan and Zaire. The first outbreak of Ebola (Ebola- Sudan) infected over 284 people, with a mortality rate of 53%. So tell me if the villagers who obviously bathed with saline river water (salty content) were still infected' how much more we who depend on mere crystal anapuna salt processed for cooking.Mind u am not against preventive measures o.
