I have said this and I'm repeating it, this group is meant for UNILORIN aspirants not prospective ICT or Literature icons.
There are other fields here, everybody is a king on his/her lane, my elder brother is 'well' inclined in ICT, he once represented Nigeria in India, he now works at interswitch and he doesn't use it to make others feel as if they are dumb headed, hardly can you know he knows how to operate a calculator.
I'm not saying we shouldn't discuss other issues but reduce the rate at which you guys discuss about programming related issues. I AM FED UP OF IT! Medical, Law, geology, education, management, etc students come and display.

Apologies man! I also don't wanna talk about it but sometimes you can't just help it. The passion is mad

I just suspect getting used to IDE now will make me lazy too, and I don't wanna be lazy. I just wanna keep on doing it the rugged way, it makes me learn everyday. Anyway using web frameworks now bridges the gap. I love Django ehnn, Python things... Hehehe sorry guyz too much digressing.

I've not used it before, the only IDE I ever used was Eclipse when I was developing Android apps on Java, but I think it's good though.
Most times I prefer to use a text editor compared to IDE because it's good for learning processes...

Wow! This is the best news I heard that cleared some mix feelings about this issue, I've just been approaching this with unshakable faith, thinking when we get to the bridge, we will cross it; at least It's the certificate i'll use. Thank God Unilorin doesn't do that wo. In my former school somebody came to my dept to study petroleum engineering but was denied scaling the clearance because his waec was older than 5 years. That's how he left, but now he is a Pilot.

To the best of my knowledge, WAEC send it to your secondary school after a couple of years and you collect it from your secondary school.
If your certificate is not yet out, then you can keep on using the statement of result. no p

Can't believe d WAEC card I used last in 2006 2 check my result cud still be valid.Decided 2 try it dis morning and was astonished.Well I guess this has saved me money.Cos this 2 out of 5 times av used it.

Moral of the story "You never know when next u might need dat stuff that is irrelivant at the moment......Don't throw all stuffs away"

If you have the grace and chance to get your waec original certificate why not get it once and for all so as to use it henceforth? Your statement of result will not last forever, someday somehow you have to get the certificate.
