After four consecutive years of staying at home, thou it hasn't been a total waste of time, I received my alert yesterday at past 5 pm yesterday. I had 234 and 68 percent in jamb and pj respectively and I was given my desired course of study(Statistics).

It has been an herculean task for me, someone like me who has no backbone or whatsoever, I took jamb form four times did it thrice, I was denied by funaab last year, it was so sadden cos i was very ready to take the challenge then,when I didn't get the admission I felt like a looser. Some have started looking at me like a street urchin, finally I give glory to the most high God for this wonderful opportunity! I know it's just the beginning and I'm ready for the task ahead

Well Matthew80,thanks 4 d info.Truth be told,I blame the VC 4 all these confusion! Unilag,Uniben,UI and other top schools went 4 200 as their cut off 4 post utme.For God's sake! Over a hundred thousand applied 4 Unilorin.You already know that the school cannot cater 2 all these aspirants.(No offence 2 all those that scored below 200)but the truth needs 2 be told.Shudn't the VC be looking 4 ways 2 slice the figures when he knows he had a quota 4 15,000 which unfortunately 4 him was slashed to 7,800.Why allow over 65,000 to compete 4 such a limited space.Shudnt u be using competition 2 drastically reduce the figures,after all Unilorin is the most sought after school! But instead He was quoted saying "I wud av even conducted for more than that figure if I had my wishes" He further said that the reason for such was 2 get the best out of the ridiculously large figure....Already Jamb has given u the best,so what best are u still talking?


Lastly,if the 30,000 that scored above 200 were the ones that did post utme.Do you think it wud have been hard 2 pick 15,000 or 12,000 or even 7,800 as compared to 65,000.Do you think the school wud be in this state of confusion?

May be if 65k applicants pay 3k for the post ume they'll generate more income that's why. Leveraging the reward of their unique selling P.
