I was upgraded to business class for Airline mistake i.e. not offering booked meal and relocating hand luggage without my permission.

Airline do have policy to resolve issues in Air. Even if she has the right to demand for water , her reaction was wrong to insult crew member, rather she would approached flight senior supervisor. If you put up your case appropriately and genuinely senior crew member resolve it by upgrading to higher class to serve you better. It helps if you’re extremely nice, well dressed and well behaved. In case you misbehave matter is generally referred to the Captain.

Also you need to know , the captain has almost limitless authority when the doors are closed. He is allowed to arrest people, write fines and even take the will of a dying passenger.

All boss are not the same , understand your boss and act accordingly.

Moreover body language speaks louder than words, boss response would have been due to contradictory body language than words being spelled out so the response. Things goes beyond adding Sir or Maa but to exhibit right posture and body language. Human brain believes more what they see through eyes than ears.

I do appreciate pilot decision. It is stupidity and crime to insult Crew / fleet member inside d Plane.

1. Crew members / pilots are highly respected professional and they should maintain positive environment inside plan for the safety and comfort of all passenger. Imagine people starts fighting and quarreling in the plane, all the lives will be on mercy of god. Pilot no be wakada man..park on roadside and fight aam..
2. All Airlines has specific protocol of no tolerance against nu-sense in the flight by anyone black or white
3. Its pity to hear lady reaction !! If she was so thirsty she could have asked for water through ground staff while boarding the plane or at the entrance of the flight or let Air-hostess know she can not manage and need the water quickly please !!
4. What you do is what you get.

This one be too small for her. Read the news on Indian Minister , he got banned and rejected to fly any of the Airlines in India because he insulted the Air hostess. The minister had to beg and beg and write apology letters to Airline for 2 good month to allow him fly again. This is Air discipline, respect and law of the land .. no be joke..

Can Nigerian airlines ban a minister / governor from flying, no matter what they do !! We have a long way to go ....

You may not get a job there , India get 2 billion brains so little room for foreigner jobs. You may find your niche there like starting a Nigerian kitchen or something specific to African community.

Indian business market is dominated by big players and volume driven . You will be surprised to know profit margins in Indian are between 3 to 5% but with high volume you can make significant profit. Say if you sell a product with $0.25 profit and sale volume is 600million your profit margin would be $150 million but with 100`s or 1000`s it does not make any sense of doing business there. Indian business environment is entirely different than Nigerien business market and profits are so low its quite difficult for a low volume start up.

Note : Nigerians have bad reputation in India. 8,672 cases of drugs and 419 reported to Indian Police and each time such an issue occur the national television and newspaper broadcast the news to entire country i.e. informing 2 billion people about scams , frauds and drug activities reported by Police.
