Ps: you can also apply for a PGD too in an area involving specialization of skills or vocational training. Then use your SOP and tell the VO you chose PGD because you were interested in skills training rather than the theoreticals been taught for a masters.

Thanks you for your response and advice. I will take serious time to think over it because I want to go bk to school. I appreciate everybody.

How old are you? And can you account for your study gaps?.... If you're within the age bracket for an undergraduate studies and you can account for your study gaps... You have no problem.

You can try. But if it’s a two year pgd, having third class is still a huge problem.

Not any degree. Try sports administration. But that is a no go area with the Vos. Personally, I have never seen anyone with third class offered admission into any masters program, period. Maybe others have seen?

A 3rd class graduate in computer science but little knowledge in hardware and repairs will you advice he goes for 1 year nursing then proceed from there because the guy is suffering since no good grade could fetch him a job and family no helping matters. If he hustles the money to go, get his study permit and take it up from there. Thanks in anticipation

1) NO. I however, had to be registered (at least for a course) to process my Study permit and also stay on hall of residence (on campus accommodation)

2) It was hard bro. I depleted mt funds in like 2 weeks. i had like $350USD. I depend on 100$ every 2 weeks from naija until my brain (hunger ) signaled to me i need a job

What i would have done differently: I would have registered to get my Study permit and Deregister right after it was issued. Apply to some less expensive college and probably study Nursing/Nursing Assistance (1 year prog) or learn Spanish/french/Japanese/Chinese While i put in my application for a graduate school. for the next academic session.

That would have saved me a lot of money

Please to all this people who come here and be asking question like Jamb this is very annoying. You will leave the Russian thread for student and other relevant informative threads you can rightly make inquiries and land here to derail the thread. You see them on every thread about jand asking question that google can readily answer.

From your transcript you are not articulate enough, You should have been able to explain better your purpose of visit then the VO can pick up interest and ask further questions...


Now you got the experience! Wait till you are done with school then apply. Being confident goes a long way.

Go get some travel: UK and or Dubai, apply again in your final year.... Regards

Okay.... A good course of study, 300L and above, some travel experience, and even a school that pays good fees can boost chances though.
