coldstone84: My wife got this message from teleperformance today and she also received the same message when she applied on the 17th December, and we are confused why they are sending it again,we applied for eea family permit Dear ............. Your UK visa application has been received by UK Visas & Immigration and will now be processed in accordance with published timelines. Processing time guidelines are available on www.gov.uk, however do note that each application is assessed on its individual merit and in certain circumstances processing times may differ. You can check the status of your application in three ways: Teleperformance Website: login to your UK Visa Application Centre account UK Visas & Immigration International Enquiry Service: call +44 1243 218 116 to speak with an operator. Note this is a premium rate service run by HGS and is not a service provided by Teleperformance It could just be an error, maybe someone is looking at your application and has sent you this automatically generated message again by mistake. |

phaara: thankyou but we dont have any child yet so how it can impact. do you think tht they mistakenly paste some other's point It looks like its a general statement. They are basically saying that any personal circumstances stipulated in your application have been taken in to consideration when the decision was made. |

phaara: can you or anyone help me understan below statement i dont know the actual meaning of it. need guide statement below is
"i have also considerd the particular circumstances set out in your application including in respect of the best interests of any child in the UK affected by this decision" It means that they have taken in to account your marital/child status when making their decision, i.e they've considered the impact of their decision on any disclosed children based in the UK and deemed that the circumstances of the child status are not sufficient to supersede any other refusal points noted. |

They sent the letter to our lawyer when we were going through the appeal, he then forwarded it on to my husband and I. Definitely worth giving your lawyer a call first before the Tribunal. |

phaara: hello house please need guide
we have lodged appeal last week of October 2014,but still didnot get any acknolwedgement letter yet. its been 10,weeks. i'm worrying dont know what to do pls guide
is it normal getting letter late? or is it not necessary to them to send letter to applicant or
should i contact anyone? if yes then where should i contact?
im realy feeling depreasion They usually take up to about 8 weeks from the point of the appeal submission to send you the letter with your 19 week deadline. It does all however depend on their workload and the time of year. Have they taken the payment from your account? Have you called the Leicester Tribunal office for an update? This letter should be sent to the representative stipulated on the appeal, if you have a lawyer, it may have been sent to them |

DUNIQUE1: Hello house, Sheffield received my passport on Thursday last week and if it wasn't for Christmas this Thursday, I will reckon my passport will be back in Lagos this week Thursday, what I don't know is if I should go on Monday or I should make it Tuesday before I go there. I also made my initial application at the Ikeja office last year, so I am not sure where to go and pick it up now, if it is the new Ikeja office or the VI office. Someone please tell me something. I'd advise that you go down there on Tuesday, with all these bank holidays it's likely that there will be some delay. I would think that you should go to the Ikeja office. Iley mentioned that the office is not in billing way anymore. They are now in etiebet's place, mobolaji bank, Anthony way. |

Cem07: @girlfio, thanx for the information. Also @iley congratulations. Did u get a text msg 4rm tele performance be4 u picked up ur passport or u just randomly visited. Also shld I go to the office I picked up my passport initial be4 I lodged my appeal or shld it be d tele performance in V/i.. my case is complicated. i submitted in Lekki in April whilst it was called VFS and picked up in ikeja VFS in September, and now I was told that d ikeja office is now called tele performance . Pls advise me on which of the tele performance to go.
Regards, I would advise that you just go to the Teleperformance that used to be the VFS Ikeja office. As long as its not too much of an inconvenience, I would advise that you don't wait for the notification. Just turn up and ask them to check if your passport is available for collection. |

Keeping: *By cash. Since his name is not on the mortgage papers, he is more so a tenant in the property. I think someone has already suggested that his ex-wife could draw up a tenancy agreement for your husband which is a good idea. Alternatively his ex-wife could produce the mortgage papers along with a statement stating that as the owner of the property she is giving your husband authority to live in the property with his wife. She can also note that arrangements have been made for monthly payments to cover the mortgage along with notification that she no longer lives there. Basically you need to prove that the property is suitable, which the mortgage papers will do and that you will both have permission to stay there, which will come from a written/signed statement from the owner. It might also be worth checking who is listed on the electoral, only the people living at the property should be listed. |

Waitingonyou: Am the sponsor. My hubby hasn't been told to come to for his passport yet?. It's the supporting documents that was sent back to me in the uk.
Was your passport among those documents sent back? Recent experiences on this forum have suggested that once the documents are sent back that the decision follows shortly after. It's difficult to b general with how they manage these applications but I would expect that your spouse should get a notification to collect his passport soon. |

It takes approx 3 working days for your passport to be ready for collection. Not sure about the tel no or location in Abuja, maybe someone else on here can advise. If you can't get in touch with them beforehand, I would say if you aim for Tues/Weds next week it should be there 4 u to collect. |

teeluu: hello,Pls I need advise on what to do. I appealed for a spouse visa which was refused sumtimes ago. At the long run I was mailed last week that my appeal has been overturned And to submit my passport which I did the following day And has been received on Friday. but am yet to receive a mail to know if my visa has been sent back to Nigeria Or not. have mailed dem severally but no response from dem yet. please what do I do from here. It's gonna be 5working days that I submitted my passport tomorrow. thanks as u help out. It normally takes between 1-2 weeks to get the passport back after sending it. They are notoriously bad at getting back to people once they've asked to have the passport submitted. Just keep chasing, you should eventually get a reply. If you haven't heard anything after 2 weeks it might just be worth turning up at the Teleperformance to see if your passport has been sent back but due to backlog they haven't yet notified you. |

willwin2: If you are going to go down the lawyer route then the best thing to do is go for someone that has been recommended to you by a close family member or friend. If you don't have an infinite amount of funds it's best to go with a lawyer that can be trusted and has a proven track record.
[I know but am a little worried, I can't get my hands on any picture of us together before the wedding, just didn't know we need them, we now have a few after the wedding, when he visited me, so just don't know how else to prove relationship with the before pictures. Do you have any emails or phone records that you can include prior to your wedding. Any cards you exchanged for Birthdays etc. also if you can arrange for a close family member or friend to write a statement and vouch for your relationship that can help. Not sure if this applies to you but if you had to do church counselling before the wedding, you can ask for the pastor to write something in support of your relationship. Basically if you have limited evidence try and get as many statements as you can from trusted sources that will support and have been in support of your relationship before and on your wedding day. You can also individually write a statement about how you met, how your relationship developed, how did you decide to get married, make it personal. At the end of the day as long as you are in a legitimate relationship, the truth will become apparent to any judge. |

willwin2: Hello, I need a lawyer, a very cheap one, pls can anyone give contact for any. If you are going to go down the lawyer route then the best thing to do is go for someone that has been recommended to you by a close family member or friend. If you don't have an infinite amount of funds it's best to go with a lawyer that can be trusted and has a proven track record. If you don't find a lawyer, it's still ok, all you have to focus on is evidence, evidence, evidence. It's about proving your relationship and then proving that you have authorisation to stay at the address provided and that it's suitable for you to stay in. The judge won't expect you to have criminal knowledge law, all they are looking for is confirmation that you meet the visa requirements. |

Bolssos: She told me the council will pay for her first month rent and deposit while she pays for the rest of the month...she not earning up to 18600 but for our application we added her saving to meet up the financial requirement..she on child leave now till Nov The main problem here is that the application for Government support could suggest that you do not have access to the savings stipulated in your application. The financial declarations were made so as to determine that you will be in a position to support yourselves without access to public funds. Now, you can just leave it as is and hope that they don't find out about the change in circumstances. Or you can send them details of the change in address, reasons for the move, confirmation that you are also authorised to stay at the council flat and also further proof that the savings declared will continue to support your family in accordance with the set threshold. |

yehmi01: Hello. Please I need help on what to do.
I applied for a UK visa for family trip, we were meant to travel last Sunday because we had to be at my sisterinlaws graduation for 20th November.
We applied at Ikeja teleperformance and was directed to go to the embassy in Victoria Island To get our passport.
On getting dir they said my passport and that of my wife was ready but they did not give us that of our four months old baby saying they were working on some things and will let us know when to come pick it up.
Its been two full weeks plus now since we applied and till now we still don't have my sons passport. And we have not gotten any word from the embassy up till now why they have not released the passport.
Please what can I do. I'd advise that you just turn up at the embassy and ask that someone give you an update on what is going on with your child's passport. You gave the date of the graduation on the application, surely they will see that if you don't travel soon you'll miss the reason for your travel. This should prompt them to look in to your case more urgently. |
