Veteran Nigerian actress, Funmilayo Ogunsola popularly called "Ijewuru" and one of the wives of the late "I show Pepper" has died.

According to reports, she died of heart attack on Monday morning, February 4th 2019 at her residence in Ibadan.

Below are pictures of a graduate of Auchi Federal Polytechnic posing with his Lexus car shortly before he was smashed to death by a lorry.

Report has it that the deceased identified as Ehis, was crushed to death on Saturday, January 26th at Ewu Hills, Benin-Auchi express road in Edo, after a lorry fell on his Lexus car.

Other occupants in the vehicle who were his friends were rescued alive.

His corpse has since been taken to a mortuary while his friends are receiving treatment at a hospital.

The deceased was a graduate of Building technology who was awaiting his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after graduating last year.

Two teenagers were flogged 17 times each because for hugging each other in Indonesia’s Aceh province, they also spent months in jail.

A female university student and her boyfriend, who are both 18-years-old, were handed the sentence under strict Sharia law in the province. The law forbids intimate displays in public.

The pair were marched on to a stage in front of a mosque in the provincial capital of Banda Aceh before being struck across the back with a bamboo cane. Hundreds of spectators gathered to watch the punishment being carried out.

Afterward, Banda Aceh deputy mayor Zainal Arifin said;

People outside of Aceh who think Islamic Sharia is cruel can now see that it is actually very tolerant and humane.

A customer got a slap from a mobile police officer attached to a UBA branch at Charity bus stop, Abule egba, Lagos, today, for daring to complain about the difficulties he was experiencing with withdrawing his money.

According to eyewitnesses, the bank brought in the officer to get rid of the customer for raising his voice in the banking hall, but the overzealous policeman ended up dishing out numerous hot slaps.

It was gathered that he even went to the extent of bringing out a knife to stab the customer. .

Seeing that the situation was balling out of control, the manager attempted to pacify the victim by trying to take him into his office, but customers were unsatisfied and walked out on him.

After his performance, Adekunle Gold was full of praises for the organizers of Vanguard Personality of the Year Award, describing the event as ‘ star-studded.”

He said that it was an honour performing in front of governors, captains of industry and society bigwigs.” This is my first time performing at the Vanguard event. It’s star-studded event. I am honoured performing in front of governors, captains of industry and eminent Nigerians,” the singer said in a chat with WG, shortly after his performance.

According to him, 2018 was an amazing year for him. “In 2018, I embarked on my first musical festival in Houston, Texas. I also had my second headline show in London. I did a residency for three nights in Lagos. I released second album called : About 30.” The singer said 2019 is going to be his year of greatness. “2019 is going to be great by God’s grace,” he enthused.
