A 12-year-old gir identified as identified as Blessing has reportedly been gang-raped by four masked men. Punch reports that the victim was raped at her residence on Thursday, May 4 in the Ajah area in Lagos state.

“I went to the office and was called (on the phone) and told that my daughter was raped in our house. I learnt she was having her online class when suddenly, there was a power outage. My husband rushed out to get fuel at a filling station so that she could participate in the class seamlessly.

Blessing told us that while she was in the compound, four masked men jumped into the house through the fence. They took her inside and took turns to have sex with her, leaving her with multiple injuries.

Immediately I received the call, I became so mad. I headed for the hospital where my daughter was rushed to. When I got there, I was told she suffered ‘vaginal trauma’. The underneath of her clitoris was bruised and she had a deep tear that made her bleed severely.

A 100-level Microbiology student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Uwaila Omozuwa has been confirmed dead after being raped and beaten inside her local church.

The 22-year-old student who goes to read everyday at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Edo Province 10, Ikpoba Hill, Benin, was attacked with a fire extinguisher by unknown men on Wednesday, May 27.

A family source said Uwaila died on Saturday midnight at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) where she was rushed to after the attack.

He said;

“The church’s security officer had gone to collect the keys to the church from its keeper when he was told that there was someone in the church already.

“He got to the church only to find Uwaila in a pool of blood and next to her was the fire extinguisher which was used to bash her face.

“He ran back to inform the key keeper and his wife, who went to the church to meet her lifeless, thinking she was dead. After careful observation, they noticed she moved her hand and quickly rushed her to the hospital.

“It was at the hospital that Uwaila revealed she was reading all alone when some unknown men came into the church , beat, raped and hit her head with a fire extinguisher. However, she later passed on.”

Nigerian singer Davido put a smile on the face on one of his loyal fans, Odukoya Wasiu Abiodun.

Recall Afrigistbase reported that the graphic designer who photoshopped davido and wizkid picture which is now trending online reacted hysterically after davido posted his work.



Abiodun was the artist who edited the photos of Davido and his colleague Wizkid in the viral post that started the controversial drama on social media.

The photo had Davido putting on traditional wear called agbada with a cap on his head. One could spot stains of white chalk on his face too. Beside Davido is the Ojuelegba singer who also had stains of white chalk on his head and a white wrapper tied around him.

The father of three seemed to love the photo so much that he reposted it on his social media platform with the same caption.

A yet-to-be identified man was recently nabbed picking out used sanitary pads from a dustbin in an Abuja estate.

He even swore on his life that he didn’t collect the pads for evil motives, yet he couldn’t give a concrete reason for picking up the pads.

He was however accused of specifically searching for the used sanitary pad by the lady who said that she carefully placed the used items in a “nylon”, before disposing it.

A pregnant woman identified as Waidat Adedeji who was in labour died today after she was allegedly delayed by police officers for not wearing a face mask in the Ogun Waterside local government area of Ogun state.

Pregnant woman in labour dies after allegedly being delayed by policemen for not wearing face mask in Ogun StateAccording to reports, the deceased,the pregnant woman, went into labour and was being rushed on a motorcycle by one of her children to the Ita-Otu General hospital when they were stopped by police officers at Sowore checkpoint. The police officers on duty asked why they were not wearing face masks and also not obeying the social distancing order of the state government.

It was gathered that the policemen allegedly delayed the motorcyclist for hours before they were later released. The woman reportedly died some minutes after.

Youths in the area blamed the police for her death. As a way of protest, they took her corpse and dumped it at the Abigi Divisional Police Headquarters.

Confirming the incident to Tribune, the spokesperson of the state police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, denied the claim that police officers caused the pregnant woman’s death.
