A Nigerian lady has taken to Facebook to accuse another lady of trying to 'steal' her man.

Mary Isaiah Edidem who fired the first shot, warned Deborah Ekanem to stay away from her man as she (Deborah) previously left him for his Prophet. She also alleged that Deborah has been inviting her boyfriend to a hotel.

Deborah however denied the allegation. She alleged that Mary launched the attack on her to tarnish her image for reasons best known to her.

The 2-year-old lion cub which was found in a residential apartment at No 229 Muri Okunola Street in Victoria Island has been tranquilized and evacuated by the Lagos State Government.

The lion which is reportedly owned by an Indian national was evacuated from the building by 1:30pm today November 18.

Chairman of Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences, Yinka Egbeyemi who confirmed that the lion has been removed from the residential apartment said the Indian national is yet to honor his invitation for questioning. The owner of the lion reportedly sent his three Nigerian workers to stand-in for him instead.

Critic, Femi Fani-Kayode is elated that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, has been vindicated after a High Court in Abuja threw out a suit filed by celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo over alleged rape.

Fani-Kayode pronounced shame on Dakolo and all others trying to cast aspersion on Fatoyinbo and his ministry.

Dakolo had filed the suit against Fatoyinbo after she claimed that the COZA pastor raped her 20 years ago when she was 16 years in Ilorin, Kwara State.

A High Court in Bwari, Abuja had on Thursday threw out the case filed by Dakolo against Fatoyinbo. This came after Fatoyinbo filed an objection and an affidavit at the Court reiterating that Busola’s statements were false and concocted to embarrass, scandalise and ridicule him.

He argued that from the inception, she sought the attention of the media and press, and brought the civil action even while the Police’s investigation was ongoing.

Justice Othman A. Musa in her ruling said the matter amounted to injustice, and an abuse of judicial process as the case was empty and purely sentimental, adding that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice.

Reacting to the development, Fani-Kayode said

“Now that Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA Global has been vindicated, I say shame on the accuser of the brethren & all those who mocked and crucified him without seeing any hard and credible evidence.

“Those that make false allegations do great damage to the cause of decency and justice.”

Authorities in Kenya have charged a Nigerian pastor and a Kenyan woman with engaging in evangelism without a permit.
According to Kenya newspaper, Daily Nation, Pastor Joseph Ifeanyichukwu Ezeking, 39, and Alice Kawira, 35, on diverse dates between January and September 2019 preached without work permit in Embu and Meru counties. .

Ms Kawira was charged with harbouring the foreigner at her place while knowing that he was illegally engaging in the evangelism. Appearing before Isiolo Principal Magistrate Evanson Ngigi on Wednesday, November 13th the duo was also charged with obstructing police officers from arresting them in Meru County. .

The suspects, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, were each released on a Sh100, 000 bond. The case will be heard on January 30, 2020.

For sometime now, there have been rumours of rife that all is not well between two super actresses, Eniola Badmus and Funke Akindele.

The general belief in town then was that both were no longer on speaking terms and that they had parted ways.

What further fuelled the rumor was the absence of Funke at Eniola’s grand birthday party.

Also in an interview Eniola Badmus had with City people last year, she revealed thus about her relationship with Funke Akindele.

Funke Akindele and I are still friends. We are sisters. Funke Akindele is one person. I love so dearly with my heart, because of who she is. Also, whether we like it or not, we can’t deny the fact that Jennifer blew a lot of us. She gave us that light. It helped a lot of us. We can’t forget the fact that it was Funke’s film that helped many of us.

At some point in a relationship, there will be ups and down. That is life. We can never have 100% relationship. There are some times you people will have misunderstanding atimes or disagree on some issues. Funke, whether good or bad, I can’t fight her. She remains my sister. Funke, whether good or bad, even if she’s fighting me, I can’t fight her, because I rate her so much. She’s up there. She’s big. She’s been a wonderful person to me. Whether we like it or not, her brand has actually affected my brand in a good way and I am happy with that fact. If we were fighting, she would not have come for my premiere. Funke Akindele coming for my premiere was like a huge surprise to a lot of people because people were saying a lot then. They said we are fighting. We are not together anymore.

This is the thing. There is no fight. Funke Akindele is a very busy person. She has a huge brand that she has to work on. I am also trying to build my own brand. It talks a lot to do that. I combine so many things to keep the brand going. So, everybody is trying to work on their brands.

At a point in time, 10 friends cannot continue to be friends. Not that you will fight. No. But you will all have to pursue different things at some point in time.

Whilst you are in Ibadan pursuing your career, another person might be in Ghana and another friend might be in Port Harcourt, another in Abuja. Yes you are all friends but your are all in different places pursuing different ideas and projects. We didn’t part ways. Funke and I didn’t quarrel. Funke and I didn’t fight. But at some point we just needed to work on our brands. She’s doing well. And Eniola Badmus too is doing well. It takes a lot to succeed with your brand and even after you succeed you still need to do more to sustain it.

Maybe if we didn’t have what we had at that time maybe I won’t be here now. Its not as if we fought. We didn’t fight, though there were some little side talks, or hear say.
