Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu(former Gov. Of Abia State and chief whip of the senate) has confirmed his withdrawal from the presidential race. Kalu had earlier indicated interest in seeking to be the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 presidential election.

However, Kalu Monday announced his withdrawal from the race following indications that neither the APC nor the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be zoning their presidential tickets to the South East.

The former governor disclosed that his decision to withdraw from the race was also borne out of the need to support the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan who joined the presidential race Monday with the purchase of the expression of interest and nomination forms.

Apostle Johnson Suleman’s accuser, Stephanie Otobo has been challenged by activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju. Adeyanju reacted to the latest accusations against Suleman on Monday challenging Otobo to produce video evidence.

28-year-old postgraduate student, Hillary Indira Gardee had disappeared four days ago before she was found dead in South Africa.

Hillary, the daughter of Godrich Gardee, a South African politician and former Secretary-General of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) disappeared on Friday, April 29, 2022.

The victim, who was born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1994, was last known to have gone shopping at a plaza in Mbombela (Nelspruit). She was wearing a black top and black trousers and was carrying a shopping bag and a laptop carrier.

Police said the victim was with a three-year-old girl when they both vanished. Surprisingly, the child was found but Gardee was nowhere to be found. She was reported missing by her family on Saturday.

EFF spokesperson Sinawo Tambo, who confirmed the sad development on behalf of the Gardee family, said her body was found on Tuesday morning, May 3, about 60km from where she disappeared in Mbombela.

A brother and sister who started sleeping together and birthed four children have continued their call for incest laws to be revoked, so their relationship can be legally recognised.

Patrick Syuebing was moved into a foster home in East Germany when he was attacked by their father decades ago.

After more than 20 years, he reunited with his younger sister Susan Karolewski.

Six months after re-discovering his biological family, Patrick, who was 23 at the time, and Susan, who is mentally disabled, began sharing a bedroom after their mother, Ana Marie, died.
Their illegal pairing has since produced four children, two of whom are severely disabled.
