Hi nairalanders i have been apart of the site for a while now, my studies have been keeping me a bit distant but i always log in to see whats new from time to time.. anyway i just want to share something with you all that my soul has been telling me from the beginning. Thanks to ancestrydna for confirming that I am Nigerian! And yes it's a BIG deal. I'm putting missing pieces of my family history back together and it is empowering! It's amazing what your ancestors will do for you if you let them guide you.

So, Giyazz, I downloaded your track and to say I was blown away is really an understatement. I was wowed!! This is not the Giyazz that gave us Hustle. This time around, you've really come of age and smoothened all the rough edges. Everything was on point, from the mixing, beating, the lady that did the chorus, and flows. It's all natural, you didn't force it and your voice was clear and slicker than when I heard Hustle last year. You're definitely gonna go places if you've got determination, good management, luck and God on your side. This is a dòpe song and if you were financially buoyant, a tight well-funded video would have placed you on a map and make the world really stand up and listen to what you've got to offer.


Don't give up, you are gonna blow one day if you keep this up. I remember Xbusta (the new 5 Star Music signing) starting like you, forcing his single to air on local radio stations and reaching out to underground fans that cherished him. The day I heard his song on Rhythm 93.7, I knew that nigga would one day make it. He was able to combine his music and studies together and today he's finally about to hit it big. So let not your studies stop your dreams, try and make your management push your music to as many radio stations as possible and hopefully a huge record label will get to you soon. Don't stop making good music, and your star will shine. I've been bumping this track for the past one hour and I must admit I'm a huge fan already. One day, I know God go do am for you and your videos will be airing on every telly across naija and the world.

I like ya flow and style. It's like a mix between Kanye West during his "College Dropout" album and Phil Ade (he's a naij rapper in the US from Wale's crew), with the classic 80s/90s New York's boom bap feel to it.

I think the only problem is that ya words aren't really clear and I can't rate the lyrics but ya rhyming pattern/style is decent. Just keep grinding and recording - the more you do, the more you'll improve creatively.

I'll review it later when I get out of bed. Using my phone ATM. Keep it up, tho.
