Watch more KOTD and URL battles. And when it comes to text rap, peep more old battles and study them. Study how the olds connected words wittly to punch. Study how they made punchlines from popular sayings or idioms. Get an idiom or popular saying, and challenge yourself to make a punchline from it. (I did that)

Or go to the front page of Nairaland, pick out a regular but buzzing topic on there, and try to make a dope punchline from it. I did that a lot and it made me one of the illest fresh punchliners in this clime and beyond.
