On 30 May, The Red Planet Mars will be 47.2 million miles from our planet and will remain close and bright for the first two weeks of June.

The planet will be visible for much of the night if the skies are clear and should be able to be seen without a telescope or binoculars.

At its furthest, the distance between Earth and Mars can reach up to 250 million miles but the closest was in August 2003, when the two planets were just 35 million miles apart.

If you missed that chance to see it, you will be disappointed to know it will be another 300 years before the planets get that close again.

In the western Austrian town of Nenzing, According To A Police Report, A gunman opened fire at a concert, killing two people before shooting himself dead. He Injured Eleven other people as the man appeared to fire randomly at about 03:00 local time (01:00 GMT).
The man Aged 27, had earlier reportedly been in an argument with a woman Before He returned to his car to get the gun and shot at people at the concert, hosted by a motorcycle club.

The World Health Organization has confirmed that the Zika Virus has now been discovered in Africa.

Zika Virus Now In Africa

The world heath body confirmed that the virus was seen in a sample analyzed from Cape Verde. The Zika Viruscauses a serious birth defect called microcephaly, as well as other severe fetal brain defects.

The disease was originally discovered in Brazil, South America, and WHO Africa Director, Matshidiso Moeti, said the result of the Cape Varde sample was disturbing because it showed that disease was spreading now and was on the verge of becoming an African problem.

Moeti added that the increased awareness would allow African teams prepare better for the disease if it crossed shores, but that it wasn’t necessary for travel restrictions.
