I don't think this applies to your average Nigerian woman. Having too concentrated gyms (two gyms on a street) gives rise to sub-standard gyms. Gym owners trying to cut costs to keep up with competition which is just down the road. I think the problem with Nigerian gyms is their
standard (Quality not quantity)

Last I checked, the average African women is always so concerned about her weights and look more than anything else.
It's a bit obvious you don't reside in Nigeria. Anyway...
people work out a lot in Nigeria more than anywhere else in the world I think, there are a lot of gyms in major Nigerian cities...I have two on my street alone.
And of course, we don't joke with our early morning jogging!!
