The Lagos State government, in a move to maintain environmental order and sanitation, has taken action against the construction of an unauthorized shrine near a main road in the Iyana Ipaja area.

According to the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency and the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps were involved in the removal of the shrine.

After several stop-work notices were served and physical assaults occurred against personnel of the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency @LASPARKLagos, the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps @LAGESCOfficial earlier today removed the shrine constructed close to a main road at Moshalasi Bus Stop, Ile Epo, in Iyana Ipaja.

SportsAfrican Local Wrestling (wwf-style) That Gets People Talking (pictures) by Glimpsetv(op): 1:51pm On Aug 05, 2024
This video of African local wrestling has generated a buzz online. In it, young men attempt to recreate the excitement of popular WWF-style wrestling.

Although these locals lack the facilities of professional wrestling, they have improvised creatively. They use bamboo sticks as makeshift posts, tie ropes around them to form a ring, and use the uneven ground as their wrestling surface.

The African wrestlers are cheered on by locals standing outside the ring, who clearly enjoy the show.

While some criticize the unsanitary condition of the ground, many others praise the young men for their creativity and talent. Their version of WWF-style wrestling is both entertaining and reminiscent of the original, despite the limited resources.

What are your thoughts on this African take on WWF-style wrestling? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.

CrimeMan Films Himself And Friends Chasing A Suspected Kidnapper In Lagos (Pictures) by Glimpsetv(op): 8:28pm On Aug 04, 2024
A man shared a video of himself and his friends pursuing a suspected kidnapper after they saw a lady being forcibly taken away in a car at night.

In the video, the man and his friends can be heard shouting “It’s a kidnapper!” and trying to call for help. However, everyone else seemed unaware of the situation and continued with their own activities, probably because it was nighttime.

Fortunately, the suspected kidnapper's car crashed into another vehicle, forcing him to stop.

Hmmm this story makes me feel sadness. The monkey obviously enjoyed pressing women's breasts so, rather than hastily imposing a death penalty the monkey should have been summoned to appear before a Board of Enquiry that would then deliberate over the immediate and remote causes that led the monkey to become a serial breast presser, so as to then chart the way forward.

RomanceIt's Convenient for Me to Date a Married Man, Says Lady by Glimpsetv(op):
A lady has disclosed her readiness to date a married man, expressing her intention on The Honest Bunch Show. She said, “At this point in my life, it's convenient for me to date married men. I don't think I am destroying anyone's home because their husbands are my supposed boyfriends. That's not my business.”

She then went on to explain her reasoning, saying, "Most married men do not have sex at home for 3 to 6 months, and when they meet their girlfriend outside, they want to make love to her every day. But at home, they are not having such fun." She continued to give reasons why it's not her fault.

At this point, let's just play you the video to watch and listen:

CrimeMonkeys Filmed Trying to Sexually Exploit a Puppy (photos) by Glimpsetv(op): 2:30pm On Jul 13, 2024
Monkeys and dogs are known to be very smart and playful animals, but they come from different families.

In this video, a puppy is seen in the midst of monkeys, and the monkeys can be observed trying to form a bond with the puppy as they play together.
The puppy pulls away from them and chases after them, but soon they gather around it again.
In an unusual manner, the monkeys start making inappropriate advances towards the puppy, appearing to attempt a sexual assault.

However, this unusual interaction takes another turn, and the puppy pulls away once more, this time chasing them off and walking away as if to say, "I've had enough."

What do you think about this interaction between the puppy and the monkeys?

Car TalkRe: Amazing Technology: Car Towing – When Will This Be Available In Nigeria? (photos by Glimpsetv(op): 10:48am On Jul 13, 2024
ElSudani:
I don't find it intriguing at all, sorry. If you can afford it then you can buy it just like you buy any other product and bring it to Nigeria.
And if you want to make it in Nigeria then provide all the necessary necessary infrastructure to make it happen.
That towing vehicle was made by humans not aliens and it is by far not the most complex I've seen.
Sorry I didn't share your fascination with it.
Smiles. Okay, Sir.

Car TalkRe: Amazing Technology: Car Towing – When Will This Be Available In Nigeria? (photos by Glimpsetv(op): 7:56am On Jul 13, 2024
ElSudani:
Nice, but there are far more complex technology than this.
Yes, I agree with you. However, we are not discussing complex or highly sophisticated technology, but rather innovation. More importantly, we are focusing on its availability here in Nigeria.

As a matter of fact, for us to not find any technology intriguing, it should either be something we can invent ourselves or something we have been using for so long that it no longer seems special. Otherwise, downplaying such an invention indicates arrogance and a lack of acknowledgment of a helpful innovation.

Let me ask you this: have you seen it used anywhere before?
Car TalkAmazing Technology: Car Towing – When Will This Be Available In Nigeria? (photos by Glimpsetv(op): 11:31pm On Jul 12, 2024
Everything is rapidly evolving, and while this technology might have been around for a while, it hasn't gained widespread popularity yet. I bet it will wow you.

This new technology makes towing vehicles effortless, eliminating the stress of the conventional method of chaining a car to a tow truck. This is definitely a game changer.

The tow truck simply parks next to the vehicle that needs to be towed, extends its forks, passes them under the car, gently lifts it onto its back, and then drives away.

The minds behind this top-notch technology deserve accolades. What do you think about this technological development?

Amazing Technology: See How a Car is Towed - When Will This be Available in Nigeria? (Photos)

I am just wondering when this will be available here in Nigeria. I am sure this will be of tremendous help to our various law enforcement agencies and even individuals in the towing business, road safety officers, LASTMA, etc.

Let us know if you have perhaps seen any here in Nigeria yet.

This lady's unusual display of strength is amazing. She was filmed standing in front of a man who was leaning on an electric pole in public, looking weak. His bicycle was parked right in front of him.

The lady was observed dropping the can of beer she was holding after taking a sip from it. She then immediately lowered her body and easily lifted the man onto her right shoulder while carrying the man's bicycle in her left hand. She then started walking away as passersby stared.
