Adeleke is just an opportunistic politician. He had been riding on the name and dead of his brother, Serubawon to become a Senator and a governor. The veil behind the sentiment was removed immediately he became the governor. It was expected of him to chart his own cause. But as a nepo baby that he had always been, he didn't form his political strategy and build his camp strongly before now. He was neither here or there. Today, he will put PDP on head, tomorrow he is frolicking with Aregbesola, next moment he is meeting with President. He thought his brother, Davidos father and Davido influence on Tinubu is enough for him to get APC ticket. They bounced him. While he was romancing Tinubu and APC for possible acceptance, he was attacking Aregbesola to please them. This closed his ADC option. While PDP issue was on, he never chose a camp. He sat on the fence. Now, the 3 major political parties in Osun is not available for him. Ibadan is less than 2 hours from Osogbo, yet he chose not to attend PDP National Convention which was widely attended by his State members. Yet, he has primary election by December 15th. Let's even assume he will be decamping to another party, who will work for him ? Is it the PDP members he disappointed ? Or the few people in the new party ? As a real politician, he supposed to decamp to another party to avoid legal issues in PDP while using the instrument of PDP to win. PDP members are angry with him for not attending that convention. All the federal lawmakers have decamped to APC. Who else is with him ? How can he win in the election ? Election is team work not an individual ride. If he know what is better for him, he should not bother to contest at all. Complete his single term and retire somewhere to enjoy his loot. After all, he had benefited from a system that he was not naturally built to accomplished. He is not a politician. Osun governorship election is clearly between APC and ADC. |
Inasmuch as I love the truth spoken by Obasanjo as a reflection of Fayose's life, he could have given him those advice privately. Obasanjo is just being vindictive. |
My friend married her brother in law. Her uncle is the husband to the aunt of her husband. Though, there was stiff opposition and resistance from both families when the relationship was discovered. They stood there ground and today they have been married for 13 years. It all borders on mutual understanding between the couple. |
Channelstv has always being systematically sympathetic with this government. Castigating them because they air a video that was not exclusive to them only, your judgement is nothing but unfair. If this narrative you are trying to peddle blow out of proportion, believe me, APC and this government has lost media support. Media war is mightier than military missiles. APC defeated PDP in 2025 partly due to media engagement. Thread softly before you throw the ladder away because you have gotten to the top. |
Wike thrives on intimidation, blackmailing and empty arrogance but fret when confronted. He had chicken out on few occasions when he was challenged. Today, a soldier stood firm at a disputed Abuja site and Wike backed off. Sowore confronted him with evidence and he went silent. Deji Adeyanju exposed him and he dodged. VeryDarkMan led pupils to protest, and knowing VDM is a shameless fighter, Wike kept quiet and blamed council chairmen. Even his fight with Fubara fell flat until Tinubu intervened. His power vanishes the moment someone refuses to bow. Wike is powerless without political power. And, that's why he won't do all hatchet jobs for Tinubu’s second term so he can be still be in the corridor of power. |
Whynotthetruth:A politician who cannot win his ward in any election is like a swimming pool without water. My father is PDP stalwart, his ward has never been won by another party in any elections since 1999. Since APC Tsunami in 2015, the ward remain the only one in my town that APC gang recognised and reserved for the PDP. That's what distinguished an astute politicians from political opportunists. |
He should continue to snub them till they realised that we can't be bullied to submission but embrace diplomatic communication and negotiation with us. Donald Trump is a narcissist and bully and must be resisted. I love how Tinubu has been snubbing him all these while. Trump is nothing but global rabble rouser with inferiority complex. We should let him continue to drag America to the mud. |
YeyeGbami:I wonder why people are not seeing it from this perspective. You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye- Mat 7:5 |
If the Insitute is owned and managed by Ogun State Government, be assured that the Rector is a goner. |
Tinubu, na man you be ! |
Alatenuje. Suddenly from nowhere, he is now Dangote PR |
The Babi Allah continues. As he failed to hustle Tinubu for appointment, he got to hustle Dangote nau for some crumbles. At least ,man must get money to pay his bills. |
Decree 14 (1967): Created 12 states, abolished the regions. Decree 15 (1967): Suspended the 1963 Constitution and gave full power to the Federal Military Government |
She quietly returned to the same seat she once rejected, the very act that triggered the entire drama. So, what became of her media crusade? Did any of her lawsuits succeed? What happened to all the so-called international support? An issue that could have been resolved instantly if only she had exercised emotional intelligence. Emotional control remains the mark of true leadership. She has no doubt learned this lesson the hard way. |
This is a do or die election for Emperor Wike. His boss needs foot soldiers for 2027 to avoid post election brouhaha about status of Abuja. The Emperor needs to deliver make mark his loyalty and strength for the Don. Otherwise, Rivers and Abuja might not be sure for him again, |
Who Union Epp? Unionism in Nigeria is not about workers—it’s about executives chasing dues and revenue. Ask the 4,000 CNSSL staff at MTN Call Centre in 2011. NLC forced unionisation, chaos followed, and within two months the entire centre was shut down. Jobs lost. NLC did nothing. Or GIG Logistics in 2020. NLC tried to force unionisation, the company resisted, and staff who backed the union were sacked. One senior manager is now an Uber driver. The fact is clear: unionism here doesn’t protect jobs—it destroys them. If you value your livelihood, avoid it. |
He may be suffering from a terminal disease. |
The Don has taken over Rivers. Emperor Wike can only rant in his bedroom. |
Is this a joke ? Can we have name oc these roads ? This guy must a comedian or high on something higher than him when he made the statement |
The U.S. is not officially in a recession, but the economy is showing clear signs of strain. Job growth has slowed, layoffs are rising at major companies like Kroger, Nike, and Oracle, and consumer spending is shifting toward essentials like food. Some sectors, including tech and healthcare, remain resilient. Economists warn a recession is possible, but the situation is far from a total economic collapse. |
Gorem2013:I wouldn’t call him fanatical. He’s principled and methodical in his approach, which can sometimes make him appear rigid. As for whether he’s greedy, I remain indifferent. |
No president whether Jonathan or anyone else can turn back the clock to the Nigeria of the Jonathan or Buhari era. A new economic reality has been established under Tinubu, and that is the framework successive governments will inherit and build upon. Expecting a return to ₦8,000 bags of rice or ₦200 per litre petrol is unrealistic. Those days are gone. What lies ahead is the task of adapting to this new order rather than longing for the past. |
Buhari tried to shut the doors strategically by making passport issuance and renewal uneasy. Strategically, Tinubu opened the door wider but allow few to pass through cos of high exchange rate which has made relocation unaffordable as it was few years back. If the cost of japa is still the same as Buhari's regime, Nigerian living in nigeria would have reduced drastically. |
Ado-Ekiti roads have collapsed to their worst state since Adeniyi Adebayo. During Fayose and Fayemi’s first terms, Ado-Ekiti roads were solid. Today, the state capital is a wreck. Rural roads are forgotten. Step into Ekiti and see the failure with your own eyes. This governor is a disaster that should be voted out. But in Nigeria, politics is not about performance. It is about loyalty to the godfathers, bountifully greasing party leaders, and sharing ₦10k per voter on election day. This is not governance. It is political banditry against the people. |
Ibikunle Amosun's bad governance keep surfacing by the day. But then, the current governor could have revitalised the facility and write his name in gold. No, he won't cos he is Mr failure too. |
Osun State 2026 gubernatorial election is going to be interesting |
Availability of hostel accommodation within the university will reduce student's exposure to these menace. 80-90% of resident of this town called Akungba-Akoko are students. The exposure is huge and risky. Horrible news is unabated under this system. |
Alagidi talaka is just waking up at 70 years. His rigidity caused him alot in politics. Yet, he is the best administrator Ekiti state has ever had. |
xtivin:I don't think anybody is pushing her. She is just a narcissist. |
Clearly, this is yet another desperate attempt to stay in the spotlight out of sheer boredom. The entire drama began because she misunderstood the Senate rules on seat reassignment. Rather than wasting this suspension period on publicity stunts, she would do well to study the Senate rules, strengthen her grasp of legislative procedures, and return with greater knowledge, confidence, and credibility. |
Charly68:Walking away from church does not necessarily implies walking away from God. We worship God in truth and in spirit. |
