This is a well deserved honour for a man who is number one employer of labour in Ekiti state. Take ABUAD and ABUAD Ventures from Ado Ekiti, the town would have been a state capital without means of livelihood except being an Okada rider.

He priotized ado Ekiti indigenes in his employment pool. If you are not eligible to work in the university, there is a place for you in ABUAD Ventures even as a stark illiterate.

His philanthropic works especially for aged Ado Ekiti indigenes and their offspring is immeasurable. They are on monthly payroll. And, he has been doing this for more than 3 decades.

ABUAD was meant to be established in Oyo. He was persuaded by the then governor of Ekiti state, Segun Oni and Ewi of ADO-EKITI. Their arguments were based on using the project to provide employment for ekitikete and he accede to it. Meanwhile, Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has given him free lands for the project to be sited in Oyo. He left the free gift to acquire land in Ado Ekiti for the project. What could be more patriotic than this?

Sometimes, these traders divert borrowed funds meant for specific business purpose to play purported fastback income yielding investment like ponzi scheme and bet with the hope to cash out fast and repay their debts and possibly expand there business. When they are swindled, the fall is suicidal.

There is a guy in my street who is into gas dispensing business. The business was thriving until few weeks ago that he can't dispense again. I approached him to know what the problem is, he claimed that high cost of gas took him out of business. He said he could bounce back if he can get 60,000 to fill up one of his cylinders. He gave a projection of making 15,000 profit from one cylinder and he can sell 2-3 cylinders in a week. The means he could use 60,000 capital to make 30,000 -45,000 net profit. It sound incredibly well. I raised the 60,000 for him with a condition that he must repay 15,000 every Saturday for 4 weeks. To my surprise, this guy went to stake this money in football bet. Alas, he lost all. When I asked for my money yesterday, he was shedding one stupid tears. What else can i do, I have lost 60,000 just because I want a business to grow.

If I had borrowed him huge money, he would considering suicide instead of shedding tears
