You took care of me and the children. With time, you became the best husband, dad and grandpa any
wife, child or grandchild would wish for.

Goodluck Jonathan succeeded Diepreye Alamieyeseigha 9 December 2005 after the latter was impeached.

Goodluck Jonathan and Timipre Sylva contested for PDP governorship ticket in 2007 and Goodluck Jonathan won the primary election to become PDP gubernatorial candidate for Bayelsa state in 2007 General elections.

It was after the primaries that the then PDP presidential candidate, Umar Musa Yaradua picked Goodluck Jonathan as his running mate.

The gubernatorial candidacy for PDP became vacant, and conventional wisdom took the better of the political actors and Sylva was elevated to occupy the position of PDP gubernatorial candidate.

Sylva was neither Goodluck Jonathan's deputy nor did he complete Goodluck Jonathan's tenure as Bayelsa state Governor. Sylva contested and won 2007 governorship election to become the governor of Bayelsa state .

Lam Adesina was a former governor of oyo state ( 1999-2003) while Olusola Saraki was the godfather of Kwara State politics in his days.

Lam Adesina failed to secure second term in 2003 election due to south West Alliance for Democracy governor's alignment with Obasanjo. All the South West governor lost to PDP except Bola Tinubu of Lagos who refused to sign pact with Obasanjo. So, Lam Adesina did not lose due to godfatherism but wrong political calculations.

It was a well known fact that Olusola Saraki installed former governor Mohammed Lawal as the governor of Kwara State in 1999. Governor Mohammed Lawal fought Olusola Saraki almost immediately he became the governor. He lost the battle as he failed to secure second term in office. Olusola Saraki won by installing his biological son, Bukola Saraki as the governor in 2003.

Are you screeding both inside and outside

I am building a property in my village. It has been plastered. The only finishing work is painting. All artisans used from foundation are native locals. I believe this will empower them and contribute to the economy of the village.

However, when I asked the painter about screeding, he was astonished and ignorant that something else will be done to already plastered wall before painting.

Please, can I get a layman breakdown of how best they can handle the screeding . Materials, ratios, timing, cost information will be greatly appreciated if added.

My decision to stick with the locals is basically for empowerment. I have used the project to teach them modern technology like polystyrene ceiling and glass window casement with burglary proof.They eventually did great jobs. I feel great doing this and I want to do more.
