Hello everyone.
I am afraid by the experience of some summer visa applicants here who are still expecting their AM when most of their enrolment deadlines have passed.

What went wrong and how can we (the winter applicants) avoid such scenario because I really don't wanna be stranded.

1. Is it that they didnt book appointment on time?
2. Is it that they didnt fund their block account?
3. Is it that they werent given admission on time?

It's by the special grace of God that one goes through the rigorous process of getting visa without a hitch.

I thought it was going to be an easy fix for me too cos I got admission early, did my interview early and even funded my block account before my interview date, yet I am where I am now, no AM after 2months of interview and my enrollment deadline is very close.

What actually makes some people get AM before Enrolment while others get after enrolment?

Wow! Thanks for this advice, I didn't know I would be attended to if I go to the embassy without appointment cos I was made to believe they won't answer me. Well I'm not in Lagos but I'll try and travel next week.

Amen. Thanks.
Meanwhile I don't know my VO's name.

Go to the embassy around 12pm and tell the security man that you have an inquiry. He will put you on the queue and Paulinus will gently attend to you..it will be excellent if you can tell him who you VO was.. But the first thing you will do is to tell him the problem you have...please and please nobody will walk you out of German embassy not even the security if you came for an inquiry ( talking out of experience) do it ASAP.. May God be with you.

[quote author=dolpaz post=77281782]You'll not be granted access tothe embassy, instead you'll be asked to send an email. It's over 6wks already so you have crossed the threshold.

Which city are you heading to if i may ask ?

Magdeburg, it's almost 2months since my interview. What happens when I can't meet up with the enrollment deadline?

Please I need suggestions on what to do. I applied for long term student visa for Germany through the German embassy in Nigeria. I did my interview on 7th February and up till today I've not gotten AM(approval mail). I have tried contacting the embassy several times but nothing positive came out.. I.e they have never replied to any of my mails and even when I call they just tell me to send them mail. I contact the alien office about three times too and each reply said they had not received my documents from the embassy and that I should contact the embassy, infact the last mail i sent to them this Monday, they replied that I should refrain from sending them multiple mails. Now I am so confused and helpless cos I can't even say what is causing the delay. I funded my block account even before the interview date and submitted all necessary documents. my enrollment deadline was April 11th, I had to plead with the school to grant me an extension, now they gave me 1week extension latest, so my new enrollment deadline is April 18th but the embassy is yet to give me feedback till today, I'm really worried. Any suggestion or what next I should do? Should I go to the embassy in Lagos? Will that help?
