@ Kaykaymil, thanks for sharing your experience with us, my first farming wasnt successful because of some mistakes in the cause of renting a earthen pond (i.e not told the truth about the pond area during raining season) which makes flood to swept away close to 3700 fishes out of 4000pcs after 1 and half month from Fingerlings. (wasting money on Coppens and skretting before changing to local feed).

drain your pond & get it out. Note-catfish can hide in mud & survive for weeks or season

Noted sir, but wont the force of the pumping machine affect the fingerlings while draining?

Benefit of farm Netting!
saw the snake when feeding this evening.
I also observed a big catfish in my pond which makes worry because I stock my pond with fingerlings on the 10/8/16.
The pond was formerly used to cultured different fishes before renting it. (pls guru in the house what can I do to remove this 1anaconda catfish? before consuming all my fingerlings)
Note: I drained the water, limed then fixed net.

you can combine,but not wise to do it immediately.It will u know who you should not buy from in future. Preferably dont. And why start with 6000 if you can still ask this question?have you weighed all variables,cost of feeding(even now) etc. Dont let any breeder push you down the cliff with sweet words

Evening mentors, please I have a little question concerning buying of Fingerlings, I want to buy 6000pcs of Fingerlings from 3 different places, it is possible for me to combine the fingerlings together? i.e. 3000pcs in pond A and another 3000pcs in pond B.
Note: I read in one of post here that you should not add fish from another farm to you farm.
