overfeeding increases feeding cost,if not manage appropriately,pollution & could lead to disease outbreak. Possible reason why they could still regurgitate is because your timing is close,you overfed & had not digested. Twice could be enough provided you feed to satiation at each time

Selling a fish on clearance of 300g @ N500/kg after 3 months and selling them at 500g after 4months at the same N500/kg. Which one is more profitable.
