Politics / Re: How Tammy Danagogo Swindled Mike Adenuga by gnwa: 12:25pm On Jan 23, 2016
I just went through a baseless story on the former minister of sports - Danagogo, by some faceless individual. I'm sure the Honourable Minister didnt glorify the individual with a response because he or she is faceless and doesnt deserve any. I will advise your platform to please desist from allowing every 'nobody' haul insults at responsible Nigerians without any iota of facts. I'm saying this because I was in Brazil as a fan of the Super Eagles and guest of the Sports Commission and happened to be at the launcheon when the Honourable Minister announced the largesse from the President and Chief Adenuga. He didn't mince words. He said that Chief Adenuga sent a gift of 200,000 dollars for their sterling performance so far with a promise to send more if they win the next match against France; while Mr President sent 3.6 million dollars as bridge finance to offset all debts owed the players by the NFF and that the 3.6 million must be refunded to the Federal Govt as soon as FIFA releases monies due to the NIgerian Football Federation. So if the Minister later demands the said 3.6million dollars to be refunded to Govt after Fifa had made payments, is there anything wrong with that? We should please stop using every avenue to drag down good leaders while hiding under pseudonyms and untraceable platforms.
