Crownpoint: I need advice on course that’s best to offer for someone with hnd in public administration, and is it a must to go for only related course , or can one pivot to health or IT Few universities accept HND for direct MSc programs, and I doubt that a public administration certificate would be applicable for IT or health courses unless they are conversion programs. I recommend the Oxford International Career College in the UK for their 9months Adult Social Care Diploma, which comes with a guaranteed 2–3 years of sponsored employment through City & Guilds. |

samintegrity: If not that everything is just wrong in this country, how on earth does Aboki get to have dollar and banks that are supposed to be the institution responsible for such don't have the dollar.
Stupid people, Banks get dollar and prefer to sell to aboki for gains rather than the normal customers that need them for transactions..
Every system in Nigeria is just not working, should we even exchange pounds for #2000 plus to a pound.
I just don't understand this country That's right. It's a lot of round-tipping from bank managers to executive directors. |

The bank rate was discontinued in 2023 because to a shortage of forex in banks. You can buy forex from aboki and complete an international transfer form with your student ID, full details, and school bank information (direct transfer, Convera, or Flywire). |

our9ja: I would need ur help concerning securing Admission for Research Master Business or Management .. also University that friendly with tuition fees sir The problem with this request is that many of the few universities offering a Master's in Research in Business have already stated they are full and are unsure whether they will accept additional applications for September 2025. Institutions like Birmingham City University, Bolton, University of Central Lancashire, Gloucestershire, York St John, and Portsmouth have received ten times more applications than the limited CAS available. It's not guaranteed that all offer holders will be issued a CAS. Many applicants who paid 2-3 million naira for proof of funds were disappointed in January 2025 when universities informed them that their limited CAS allocations had been exhausted. Hertfordshire are about to roll out their MRes Digital management but the university representative ( Mrs Bolanle Durodola) said they have only 40CAS to give. |

Candidwhite: Please bro, I want to ask few questions.
After CAS is offered by the school, what’s the next step to take. Visa application or wait a little?
I’ve bin offered conditional offer at University Hull and the condition is to upload legal documents for age difference on my Waec And my passport, buh they already sent me Visa questionnaire.
Again, what can you say About Chester university and university of Hull, because those are my two choice. I’ve been given conditional admission by Hull and I’m still waiting for Chester to make their Decision, maybe this week. The University of Chester stands out with a tuition fee of around 12-13k, lower than Hull's £14k. Warrington where Chester is located is close to Liverpool and Manchester while Hull is an isolated village. Chester also boasts a rich history as the first purpose-built teacher training college in the UK with a legacy of teaching excellence that is higher than HULL |

Or I should just accept and move on And I don’t know if there’s job in Bristol or anything about the place all I want is a job and study
Pls I need a reply from anyone with the idea UK scholarships are hinged on external bodies although few universities offer internal fully funded or partial scholarship, and to the best of my knowledge, UWE rarely offer one. He should have left for Saudi last season. I believe his decision to stay was poorly considered, just like Mo Salah's. Saudi Arabia is offering great financial opportunities for these players. They should go and play 2 years there, make their money, enjoy time with family, and then take a break, maybe even go back to school for a degree or diploma. After that, return to football in a new capacity, whether as a youth- coach, pundit, or sporting director.

POF is my sisters account Ukvi website says parent (guardian) fund
Question: Do we need to move the funds to my Mom account and wait another 28 days?
Worries: resumption is May 25th and 28 days from today roughly gives me a window of one month to submit my visa application.
Is it still possible I can get the visa within that timeframe ??
IHS paid already, application fee was about to be paid before it crossed my mind that the POF might be wrongly setup Yes, you don't have a choice. That's why it's recommended to consult with an agent, few of us offer free services, and I am one of them. You would have been informed of this when applying for admission to study. Transfer the money into your mom's account, obtain the applicant's birth certificate from the National Population Census, and have your mom write a sponsorship letter stating she's exercising her parental rights. |

Candidwhite: Please bro, could you please advice me on when POF is supposed to be in your account. Is it immediately after application or when the school has given you admission?. Be aware of when your university will start issuing CAS. Use this information to your advantage so you don't have to renew your POF every month after the first one expires. Ideally, you should start the process as soon as your tuition deposit is confirmed. As i said, email your university immigration & compliance team |

bukagb91: Good morning, everyone. I got an unconditional offer letter from Bournemouth University for a master's program, and the tuition is £19,000. I got a scholarship discount of £4500. leaving me with £14,500 as tuition.
I'm also planning to apply to York St. John University for a master's program. The tuition is £11,800.
I noticed the tuition is way cheaper than other schools in the UK. Please, is the university a good school? I know accommodation can be a bit pricey because York is a tourist place.
I'm just trying to weigh my options. York is cheaper truly but cannot be compared to a top 40 university in the UK. But If you're a self funded student, You can choose York |

Edututorial: Good day everyone.
I have a little situation, and I would appreciate your advice.
My wife and I are in the UK and we recently applied for a Visitor's visa for my mother-in-law. We attached Sponsorship Evidence, three-month payslip, visa form, and our passports, but we didn't attach Tenancy Agreement or Proof of funds.
Has anyone had a similar issue? Was an NSF given? How do you think we should proceed? Thank you This is very tricky. This is quite challenging. A visitor visa is different from a student visa, where ECO's tend to be more lenient. She might be denied, but stay positive. |

Stepson: Hi guys, I got a conditional offer at York St John University, for Mres Education. I have a spouse who will be joining me few months after I've arrived, this is because we can't run the application together because of fund shortage. (is it advisable)
Secondly, is York St John University a good school? Doing this Mres Education for a prospective doctorate in the future.
Are there jobs nearby for an international student?
Can I get sponsored work in education immediately after graduation? I have over 7yrs teaching experience in a govt secondary school, a certified teacher with my TRCN and a 2.1 graduate of English Education. While the chances may be slim, there is still a possibility of finding grace. Early childhood educators, special needs teachers, physics instructors, and modern foreign language teachers have a better chance. However, employers may be hesitant to pay the new sponsorship fee, which has been raised by the UK government. |

Speconnet: Dear nairalander, I need your help. I got an admission to UK school through PGCE as a physics teacher and It has been confirmed that I am eligible to 29,000 pounds bursary which will be paid for 10 months installment by the UK government (2900 per month). Now the school that offered me a place based on the bursary reduced my initial deposit from 50% to 25% which is 4000 pounds, approximately 8m naira. The school is starting tis sept 2025 and I have to pay the deposit by May in order to process my visa. The problem now is that I don't have 8m to pay for deposit. Please if anyone knows where I can get loan based on this I will surely pay back as soon as I start collecting the bursary or any other information on how I can go through this will be appreciated. This is a golden opportunity and I don't want it pass me by. What is the name of the university? Can you approach Prodigy finance? |
