As a student, you can work 20 hours per week during term time, full-time during holidays, and benefit from a two-year post-study visa. Engineers are on the occupation shortage list, making it easier to secure permanent residency in Ireland

I intend to pay part of my tuition fees and pay the balance of 6,500£ when I get there. Are there jobs for international students that would enable me complete the balance when I travel? What is the price range of student accommodation in Dundee?

Student jobs are low-paying and primarily cover food expenses and, at best, part of your rent. They were never intended to fund tuition fees unless you have a dependent who can work full-time which is no longer an option.

While the cost of living in Dundee is cheap, job opportunities are not much. You may need to commute to Edinburgh or Glasgow to find suitable work

You can apply for chester university, university of southwales, Liverpool Hope university. Their fees is similar to York St useless John

Please did you declare your visa refusals when applying to the school for admission?

I’m at that crossroad at the moment, I had a uk visit visa refusal earlier this year due to lack of strong ties to Nigeria and I also made an error when putting my monthly salary in the application. I accidentally added an extra zero while my statement showed the correct income.

Can someone advise if declaring this during admission application stage can affect one’s chances of getting an offer.

Do not disclose this to the university, but it is compulsory to declare it for your visa application. Some universities may frustrate your CAS ISSUANCE despite your honesty . Let them threaten you with UKVI verification. it's just a bluff, no worries

Keep the university updated, as this situation is beyond your control. I usually ask my applicants to continue contacting them frequently with paid calls.
They're intentionally causing this delay not to beat quota numbers. Once the latest enrollment deadline has passed, the university will withdraw the CAS, and the visa will be automatically denied.

Personally, I won't advise you to seek loan for uber but since the interest is 20% annually, still kinda make sense. So, that money can't get you tokunbo Toyota or Honda but it should get you fairly used car. But if you will go with my personal advice, that money should get you tokunbo Ford Focus 2008 to 2010, trust me, that car is peace of mind, people just dey flood Toyota and Honda and they don't want to try out other products that are better than Toyota, the car may not have second hand value but that car is stronger than every Toyota out there. It is what I use personally and I have corolla and camry but that car dey give me peace pass corolla and camry..
