How can there be God when there are so much sorrow, poverty, wickedness and oppression in this world?

If an architect wants to design a building, he will ask the owner, what do you want to use the building for, the owner will say, I want to you use it for school or educational purposes, so, God, the owner of the Church designed the Church to be called, a house of prayer, which means the main purpose or one of the main purpose of establishing the Church is for prayer, God, the architect, designed the Church to be a house of prayer, that is why our Lord Jesus Christ said in Mark 11:17 which is corroborated in Isaiah 56:7.

And Isaiah 56:7

" Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar: for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people."

The Church is not only the building, but the redeemed of the Lord gathering together to worship the Lord.

So, the redeemed people are called the church, which means, the redeemed must as a matter of necessity take prayers serious, if not, the enemy of our souls, the satan, whose is constantly on prowls will destroy the Church, the redeemed people.

It is a pity that so many believers are joking with their prayer life when souls are perishing every day, your prayers can go a long way to save a soul from dying.
It is good to gather together to pray but nothing must stop you from having a personal prayer time with God, that is called, alone with God.
If you claimed that you have accepted Christ and yet you don't have any personal prayer time with him then you are joking.
Jesus Christ, our perfect example took prayer seriously to the extent that the sweat that was coming out of his body in the garden of Gethsemane was like a drop of blood.
Sometimes, Jesus Christ prayed all night, Jesus Christ prayed and now, he is still praying for us in heaven, interceding for us till now.

If our Lord Jesus Christ can pray so much, who are you not to pray?

Who do you want to resemble?

Christ or the devil?

The problem with prayer is that many people think that God is a magician, no!
God is not a magician, they want God to answer them speedily without any delay.

Have they forgotten about the word, PERSISTENCE? the ability to continue despite an unfavourable situation, despite the frustration and weariness.

Luke 18 : 1-8 "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"


This is the perfect example of why we must not faint or give up in prayer.

There was a story of Thomas Edison who failed 999 times and succeeded in the 1000 times to invent the electric bulb.

You can pray a particular prayer point 1,000 times , it may be the 1,000 time that God will decide to answer the prayer.

You can pray a prayer for 3 days and God will answer on the third day, it depends on your relationship with God.

Some men of God, because of their relationship with God can pray a prayer and there will be an instant answer just like Elijah the prophet on mount camel.

The bottom line is, you must PRAY.

Life is full of challenges and it is fragile, you can only hold life or control it through your prayer life.

As I mentioned earlier, you cannot control what people do, you can only react to what people do, however, according to Proverbs 21:1"
Proverbs 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he wills"

Therefore, the only way you can control what people will do to you is on the platform of prayer because the heart of men and kings are in the hands of the Lord, like the rivers of water, the Lord directs their hearts wheresoever he wills.

You can influence their decisions to favor you by praying to him who has the whole world in his hands.

Other countries that are living an enjoyable life have to pray too, this is because they are not in control of the weather, they are not in control of natural disasters, recently, The elected President of the United States of America,Donald Trump is saying something good along this line.

Pray without ceasing.

Every thing needs prayers.

God will not do anything without prayers, it may take 100yrs or more but God will still answer the prayer.

Never give up. YOU MUST PRAY.

Miriam was a prophetess and Aaron was a priest, these two were holy people of God and they accused the great man of God, Moses. Moses married an Ethiopian woman and it became an issue among the Holy people.

As meek as Moses was, he did not react or complain to what Aaron and Miriam said against him to God but there is a problem in verse Numbers 12:2b " And the LORD heard it."


Thank God that you are anointed and well respected man of God but that doesn't give you the right to accuse your senior Pastor or the Elderly of the bad things he has done.

In ministry, men of God may not see everything or everyone because of the loaded assignment before them.
Definitely, things will go wrong in the church, the man of God may not see everything especially if you have a large congregation.

You have no right to accuse him any how. It is uncalled for.

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.


Honour your father and your mother that your day may be long.
It is also applicable to men of God that are old enough to be your Father or mother.

For God's sake, let's be civil on social media. It is not only on social media but inside and outside the church.

Stop sharing insulting messages on social media about men of God.

When you speak against men of God and accused them of what you think is right in your own eyes and you insult men of God any how without respect,
be it right or wrong, know surely that the man of God may not say anything or curse you, God will react and deal with such person in a way that the person will regret for the rest of his life.

You can say the old man of God is saying nonsense but that is not for you to judge.

Allow God to judge him.

God that called him is the one that will judge him, NOT YOU!

God has never made you the judge or the referee.

You may say, ha! ha! ha! Nothing will happen, I have been speaking against men of God for some years, nothing has happened to me, you are wrong.

The Bible says in "Ecclesiastes 8:11
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil."

The silence of God does not mean his judgement will be delayed, No!
It does mean God is weak or incapacitated, No!

The judgement of God is sure, it may be slow but it is right there on you, you may not see it now but later.

Morally speaking, men of God, no matter the age, must be respected, when you see him, you are to greet him with respect but because there is an anonymous social media, you begin to accuse him unnecessarily, calling him names, fools, idiot and unprinted names. Courtesy demands that you should respect his old age so that you can also grow old like him, your comments should not be too harsh on an old man of God even though, no one sees or knows you but God can see you in dark room of your house where you are sending disrespectful post on the social media for the men of God.

You may not know if the old man of God prayed for you to be born when your mother was looking for the fruit of the womb, you may not know if the man of God prayed for you to be alive today, you might probably might have been buried today but because the man of prayed for you, you are alive today, you are now insulting him any how.

God is watching you

God may deal with you now or later unless you repent and unsaid what you have said against him.


Instead of insulting men of God, these are the steps you can take to help them:

You can send a private email message to him about your complain.

You can go and see him, one on one.

You can send a message to him through his personal assistant or members of his family.

You can pray and interceed for him that God should open his eyes to see what God wanted him to see in the spirit realm.

It is not all prayers you can pray for your senior Pastor, No!

You are not the one God called.
Infact you have no right to do so.

You can always pray for him secretly in your closet that God should help him to fulfill his calling.

Instead of insulting him any how, find a way of following peace with your senior Pastor or the elderly.

Consider the above Bible verses as baby leaped in the womb of Elizabeth upon hearing Mary salutations, this means that communication begins from the womb not even when the was born.

Whatever we do as parents can transfer to babies in the womb.

I guess that's Jesus Christ said we should not forbid little children to come to him.

The brain of infants or little children is still fresh to accept signals even though the baby may not understand it.

In my own opinion and in consent with the above scriptural verses, children or infants should be allowed to know Christ at any age.

Must we follow the international price?

Other countries selling at the so called international price could afford it with ease, why is PMS an international commodity that can not be purchased by ordinary Nigerians?

Is it the same thing in other countries of the world that are enjoying it?

Since it is produce here in Nigeria, the price should be affordable to the Nigerian populace and not on the high side.

Many things are shrouded in mysteries and in darkness when it comes to fuel issues in Nigeria.

Until people begin to dig deep into this mysteries, there would not be decrease in the price of fuel.
