The Union , NLC and TUC must not continue to waste time or entertain unnecessary delay.

Whether it is #200k or #62k, it doesn't matter now because the prices of goods are soaring higher at the detriment of the workers. People are suffering and dying daily. Delay tactics must be avoided at all cost.

What the NLC or TUC needs to do now is to have a roundtable discussion with the FG and agree on a reasonable figure that will commensurate with the current economic situation.

Living in this world can be vividly be described as a little dog locked inside a cage with plenty of foods, milk, meat and other nutritious foods to eat.
The dog began to get bigger in size, the dog got bigger and bigger until it could not come out again. The body of the dog has become so big that it could not come out of the cage.
The dog realized that there is danger, it may not be able to get out the cage alive, it has to start fasting to reduce its size.
The dog now realized that all its efforts were wasted in eating all the foods kept in the cage.

1 Timothy 6: 7 ' For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out"

King Nebuchadnezzar boasted that he built the great Babylon with his hands in the book of Daniel 4:29-36.
What happened to him?
Daniel 4: 32 " And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will"

A whole King became an animal just because he thought he had something, he built the kingdom of Babylon by himself and not recognizing God.

Lately, a rich man in Lagos , climbed to the top of his building, jumped down and died instantly.

You have nothing in this world.

Every thing you think you have or you feel it is your own and that you labor for it. You are just a temporary keeper of it. Whether you like it or not, you will leave it behind and go to God with nothing, then you will know that you are nothing because you have nothing.

Nothing, I say nothing.

Why are you boasting as if God did not give those things you are boasting of .

1 Corinthians 4:7 " For who maketh thee to be differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hast not received it?"

You think you are smart, intelligent, brilliant, talented, cool , calm and collected.
Why are you so intelligent?

Why are you so smart?

Why are you so brilliant?

God gave it to you. It is not your own making, God made you to be like that so you don't have to be boasting that you are more degrees and qualifications than others.
God put the brain there for you to use it for his glory.
Why are you boasting because of your many academic qualifications?

Always remember that it is God that gave you the brain to get the degrees.

What if you read and you don't understand?
What would you do?

Exodus 31: 1-5
"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah
And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.
To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass.
and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship ."

Just as God gave Bezaleel the brain to do his works, the same way, God has given you the brain to acquire the wealth you have now.

When it is time, God will stop you from using it and then you will now realized that you have nothing.

Every thing you have, houses, children, cars, properties and investments are temporary, you are just a temporary custodian or temporary keeper of these things.

You really have nothing.

Having realized your nothingness in this world, is it not better to acknowledge God and lay up your treasures in heaven where thieves will not break in?

It is better you acknowledge God now and run to Jesus Christ before it is too late.

Therefore, it is safer and advisable for you to do the will of the person who put you inside this world or the cage, God is the person who put you inside this cage called world.

I repeat, God is the person. Without this God, you cannot be born into this world.

When you begin to talk about God, you need to know that you are talking about somebody you cannot really understand, you are talking about mystery, something that is hidden, something that is beyond your own understanding, something that is difficult to understand, so it is understandable for some people to say that there is no God, this is because God is a mystery. God is difficult to understand.

If you say or believe that there is no God, you are not being careful in your thinking because the way the world is designed and even your own body system, your brain, your digestive system, your eyes are wonderfully created. Somebody must behind this intelligent design of the world, the sun, the moon, the stars, the birds that sing, the animals, the fish of the sea and all other wonderful creatures, if you sit down and you begin to examine all these things including your own body system, you will discover that there is an intelligent being behind these wonderful things.

When you say there is no God, it is an excuse for you to do unreasonable things, to behave in a very bad manner without thinking of the consequences because you believe nobody will hold you responsible for your bad behavior but I am so sorry to disappoint you that God will judge you now or when you leave this world. It is a must for God to judge you. You cannot escape it.

Who is this God we are discussing?

It is almost the same question Moses asked God himself in Exodus 3-13-14
" And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the Children of Israel and shall say unto them, The God of your Father's hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? What shall I say unto them?"

God answered Moses in verse 14:

"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the Children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.'

The phrase " I AM THAT I AM" is loaded with meanings.

Meanings: I am who I am;
I will become what I chose to become;
I am what I am;
I will be what I will be;
I create whatever I create;
I am the Existing one.

I AM WHO I AM
He is staying his name, (LORD) Yahweh.

He is.

He is stating He is the eternal one who has no beginning or end . He is the really real, the ultimate reality.

He is saying, I am real.

Isaiah 40 :28 " Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding"

When it comes to God, don't bother yourself about searching of his understanding because you will not be able to understand everything about God. God is God. Period.

Another powerful scripture about God is found in John 1:1-3
" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing that was made."

Mathematicians will relate that this statement is somehow confusing but loaded with meanings.

How can the Word that was with God became God himself?

Many will will not understand. Many will say the Bible is full of nonsense.
Many will misinterpret the Bible to their own destruction.
Many will fight the Bible not knowing that they are fighting God indirectly.

That is why in John 1:4-5" In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not"

The truth is, one needs to go spiritual to understand spiritual things especially the Bible, you will need inspiration and revelation to understand the mysteries of God.


I HAD AN ENCOUNTER.

In the year, 1999 or so, I can really remember everything, I did 7 days fasting and broke the fast, I think I did another fasting again about 7 days or so no food except water and I was praising God, I saw a very BIG HAND like a man's hand in the Heaven, the description of that hand was unimaginable, the light that was coming out from that light that was coming from that Big hand was so powerful that it is difficult to set your eyes on it continuously, the light was too much to behold, I heard a voice which i cannot say now.

That's enough for about the encounter,
now, what am I trying to explain?

I am warning you that you should fear GOD and obey his commandments because at the end of your life, the judgement of God is waiting for you whether you believe it or not.

It is also corroborated in the book of Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
" Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter, fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil"

Hebrew 10:31 " It is a fearful thing to fall into that hands of the living God"

When you fall into his hands, that's all, you cannot appeal or beg after death.

Now is the time to amend our ways before the living God and seek Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith before it is too late.

Tomorrow may never come. Today is the
day for the new beginning in Christ Jesus.

Nowadays, people are in desperate need to get rich quickly, they are ready to kill, destroy, steal, tell lies, defraud anyone, scam people, do rituals and bear false witness just to make money.

People are ready to deny their best friends, forsake church, fight their brothers or even kill a whole family just to make millions quickly without considering the fact that they may be wasting their time on nothing.

We all heard the news of how one rich man died not too long ago leaving a magnificent building behind, what a wasted effort!

Some of our youths are hell bent on making money on the Internet through Yahoo Yahoo and after they are caught their eyes will clear that money is not everything.

The rich people are advised in their own interest not to store up money in this wicked world where it will rust and destroy.

Jesus Christ said in Mathew 6:19-20

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves breakthrough and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heavens, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, where thieves do not break through nor steal"

This message is for the rich people who are keeping billions of naira or whatever currency somewhere where in a foreign country or anywhere to know that

it is a wasted effort and unprofitable act because many lives would have been saved if the money had been properly used or utilized to build hospitals, company, roads and many productive ventures that will create a new Nigeria for all of us.

The question is: why keeping the money meant for millions of people in one account or a foreign country, you cannot finish spending the money yet you keep it from innocent people that will need it for survival.

You heaping up money and yet you don't that you will not spend or enjoy the money.

Use your wealth in a profitable way that will make God to happy with you.

Use it to reduce suffering in our environment.

Walking through the city of Lagos, you see people sleeping on the side of the road or under bridge because there is no place for them to sleep.

Many families are living from hand to mouth yet you keep the money somewhere where it will not benefit anyone, that is wickedness.

Use your money to bring men back to God, help the prostitute, help the orphan, help the widow, save souls with your money in the work of reconciling men back to God through the work of Evangelism in your local church, assist people that are going to bring men back to God with your money, win souls for Christ with your money.

Many are homeless, build new houses for the homeless, let them pay by easy means possible.

You are keeping money and you don't know it is a wasted effort.
