My advice:

If God has destined it for you to be there, you will be there, but don't leave a life of fantasy and start daydreaming, WORK HARD and PRAY for grace for God to bless the work of your hands right here in Nigeria, there is plenty MONEY in Nigeria but the problem is that it is in the wrong hands.

Pray to God to move the wealth into your hands.

The BIBLE says Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.

Be patience and you will be there after you might have made it in Nigeria.

God spared my life to see this day and God answered my prayers after about five years I have been praying.

Be nice to people, lowly or highly person because you don't the person that will connect you to the person that will make you succeed in life.

Your best friend may be your worst enemy while the ordinary man in the streets will be your saviour when trouble comes.

This is not a topic to create fear or panic. It is not a premonition on any nairalanders. It is not a thread to scare anybody but rather a thread that calls for sober reflection on the issue of death. It is a topic to gain knowledge about the issue of death and see what we can do to minimize or stop the untimely death rate if possible.
I am not going to die untimely or mourn over any one close to me. I don't wish death on anyone. I don't have premonition of death on anyone.
For more emphasis, confess this scripture to yourself, 21 times.
Psalm 118:17. Mention your name and say it loud and clear.

You will agree with me that in recent years, precisely, 2019 to 2022. After the invasion of the deadly virus, Corona virus, it has become messy all over the world, no day passing without hearing that somebody died one way or the other.
You hear husband murdered wife in cold blood. Wife killed husband with knife. Five men gang raped a 15yrs old girl to death. Man found dead in hotel room. A lady was found dead in the hotel. The second wife killed the husband. People now died before their time. Accident killed so so people. A student commit suicide. The headless body of a girl was found in the bush. Man died during s.ex rump. Even the rich are not left out. Celebrities, actors, actresses, musicians and footballers died too soon.

Look around you, you will see the posters of gone too soon. RIP, Obituaries, celebration of life, died after a brief illness.

It is so sad you keep asking why are people dying anyhow?

Before answering this question, we need to know the meaning of death.

What is death?

Death is SEPARATION.


Death is the cutting off from fulfilling God's purpose for which he or she was created.

To understand the next meaning of death, you must understand that man is a tripartite being consisting of the body, the spirit and the soul.

Death can be physical in the sense that the spirit leaves the body with the soul, in other words, soul and Spirit SEPARATE from the body. The body becomes useless without the soul and Spirit.

Death can be spiritual when man is eternally SEPARATED from God because of SIN.
It is possible to be spiritually dead and be alive in the body, that is, dead in the spirit, a sinner or a Church goer, they are alive physically in the church but spiritually, they are dead.

It is also possible to be physically dead and buried in the grave and consciously alive in hell fire in soul and spirit.

The issue of re-incarnation or Akudaya is another topic not for now.

Why death?

Physical death came about due to the consequence of sin.
Romans 5:12 " Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by SIN; and so death passed upon ALL MEN, for that ALL have SINNED."

1 Corinthians 15:56A" The Sting of death is sin;"

Again, 1 Corinthians 15:57"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory our Lord Jesus Christ"

Why are people dying anyhow?

Sin is the cause of the death but that is not the only reason why people died.

Sometimes, people died untimely due to Carelessness on their part not going to the hospital for medical check-up, not observing simple road signs to avoid accident or prayerlessnes as the case may be.

God in his sovereign may decide to take his beloved home to heaven by his own prerogative. God knows best .Only God knows. God knows why.

How many people die each day?

According to Google,

Deaths per minute 115

Deaths per second 1.92

Nigeria is number 4 on death rate by country with a total 6,561 while China is number 1 with 30,373 followed by India 28,279 and United States, number 3 with 8,295.

People can be killed in so many ways or for various reasons.

Why are we in this world?

The purpose of man existence can be summarize by what the richest man that ever lived,King Solomon wrote in the last chapter of Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
" Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good , or whether it be evil"


Lastly, the world is dangerous place to live, man is naturally selfish, it is dog eat dog. Nobody really likes you except God sent. Whether you like it or not, you must have something to protect yourself but the safest place to be is inside JESUS CHRIST.
Once you are inside JESUS and you obey his commandments, untimely death will be far from you except God decides.
God will take care of the rest.

Accepting JESUS does not mean you will not have problems but you are on a better platform of the light of God to conquer and prevail over your problem.

Apart from Divine protection, there are other things to be done, God has his own part to protect you, you also have your part to play to secure your lives.

1. Don't go to where you are not supposed to go, don't travel without doing the necessary spiritual preparation because the days are evil.

2. Don't eat anyhow,if at all, you have to eat, allow the Holyspirit to lead you and if you are about to eat, pray on it. There May be death in the pot.

What is an illusion? misconception, false belief, deception, fantasy, fallacy, error, castles in the air.

3. Don't follow your friends or just anybody to any church or a secret place for prayer. It could be a death trap. If you notice anything strange in your own church, ask questions, if you are not satisfied with answers, check your Bible, be the berean christian in Acts 17:10-11

If God has been showing you strange things about your own church in the dream, you better leave the Church and pray that God lead you to the right Church where Jesus is still dominating.

4. Never robbed God by not paying Tithe or offering thinking you are wiser than God your creator, humble yourself and obey God's commandments like a little child or a fool.

5. Never stopped praying and make sure you do it yourself before trusting anybody.

6. Don't get involved in business you know nothing about, it could be an invitation to disaster, always ask questions, if you are not satisfied with the answers, flee.

7. Avoid pornography, fornication, adultery and dressing by exposing the sensitive part of your body in the name of fashion.

8. Tattoo is another trap. Never be tempted to take Tattoo on your body, it could an invitation to bondage, it is not a fashion, it is a trap. Beware!

9. Be sensitive to your night dream, it could be a pointer to danger. God may be telling you something. If you see any negative sign in your dream, wake up and pray against it, reverse it or cancel it. You can organize a prayer meeting against bad dream.

10. Get knowledge about the Bible, read your Bible, it is difficult to deceive Bible readers.
Buy Bible tools, Concordance Bible, Dictionary Bible, Mathew Henry Bible, Dake's annotated Bible, Daily devotional, download some versions on your phone for immediate checking, get Parallel Bible, English, Yoruba, Igbo and other versions.

11. Buy Christian literature books, from seasoned men of God, Pastor Adeboye, Dr.Olukoya, Bishop oyedepo, W.F Kumuyi, and other men of God as directed by the Holy spirit.

12. Fear : fear has the ability to invite untimely death quickly, when you begin to fear, you hand over the victory to the devil, you lose concentration, you lose power and confidence.
Fear has a torment, fear can put you in bondage, ordinary ant in the house , you begin to scream and you cannot sleep again.
When the driver is on high speed, you begin to breathe in and out. It is not a to time to palpitatate but to caution the driver, if he doesn't listen, then you focus on God.
When you have sickness and you begin to fear that so so person has died, and you begin to panic. You begin to believe in men than God.
Get some powerful scriptures and memorize it and talk to yourself, repeatedly by saying, I shall not fear, my heart shall not fear, I shall not die, I will make it. The sickness will not kill me, I will see the end of this sickness, it shall not see my end. I will not be disgraced. God will fight for me. I shall be highly favored.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
I am more than conqueror, I overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. I shall not be disappointed. I will be the head and not the tail.
Begin to talk to yourself.

Social media factor is inimical. If you don't have the power to withstand evil arrows and Satanic attack, don't post the events of your life on social media: Facebook, WhatsApp and so on.
Why do you give the enemy bullet to gun you down?

Posting engagement, wedding and all other related stuff about your achievement on Facebook is inimical to your progress.

They are too emotional.
They like to talk.
They multiplied whatever you give them. Whatever you give them, they will give you back.
They are our mothers.
Some women behave like real men.
Some women are more physical than some men
Women like God.
Some women are sometimes weak in decision making so you have to make the decision

The Bible came into existence through inspiration, revelation, illumination, audible voice, angels, prophets, visions, dreams and still small voice from God Almighty and nature..

About 40 different authors wrote the Bible of 66 books in different locations over a period of more than one thousand years.

Some of these authors never saw the writings of one another yet there is a wonderful unity, agreement and conformity with their writings.

How can you preserve a book for more than 1,000 years?
It can only be God.
God has hands in it.
Till tomorrow, the Bible is still under attacks, scrutiny, twisting, misapplication and misinterpreted.
They sought in vain to destroy the Bible but it stood like an unmovable Rock

The Bible is good for the soul. It nourishes, encourages, heals, transforms and fits the soul as key to a lock.

Jesus is the stumbling stone for the Jewish people

The first question that must be asked is who is this stumbling stone and Rock offence?

It is Jesus Christ or representing Jesus Christ just like an ambassador of Christ.

Three verses readily come to mind.

Isaiah 8:14
Isaiah 28:16

Romans 9:33

Isaiah 8:14 " And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

It means that not everyone will accept Jesus Christ, some will be raised up while others will stumble and fall and fail .
Jesus Christ came for the rising up of some people while he also came for the destruction of some people or pulling down of some people.


Many will be taken and fall into snares or trap of the enemy.
Many will fall into error and grievous mistakes.

Some Will be lifted up to high position while others will backslide and end up in hell.

Some Will make heaven some will enter hell fire.

It is a stumbling stone.

One needs to be careful not be a victim of the stumble stone.

Hold family meeting again and again and again.

Face to face.

Silent.

He who has no sin should cast the first stone.

We need to be careful about life.
