I’d like to be answered because I’d want to book my flight.

God Win! Visa alert! Submitted 4th February. I couldn’t travel in December with my December visa due to unavoidable reasons which I explained in one of the letters I submitted because it got expired so I had to reapply again as my 3rd application and I was given visa till May this time around.
I was terrified initially they wouldn’t give me again But God Almighty Win Always, Amen!

dvs511: I don’t think there’s any country embassy that have visa offer for birth tourism. You’re mistaken. You might tell a visa officer that you want to go to their country to give birth and they will approve your application. Another applicant might try same and get denied, so it’s subjective. Sometimes it’s not about right or wrong answers during interviews, but about how you answer them. Confidence matters. We learn everyday though! |

Letsmove: I think the benefits are similar but Brazil has some flexibilities and people are more diverse. If you have a direct access to Mexico, i see no reason for you to disturb yourself. My first intention was actually Mexico before I started reading about Brazil and it sounds interesting though so I decided to check out too but I’ve already prayed and asked God To Choose The Best For Me and make anyone that wouldn’t favour me in future to decline even if I’m qualified. Keeping my hands crossed And Leaving All To God Almighty To Decide Though, Amen ! |

Please house, I do wished to ask a question that has been bothering me. Brazil and Mexico which is better please. Though Mexico is my first choice and I have active UK visa for it but needed to try Brazil too incase
If it’s because of pregnancy they’re inviting for interviews then, it might go sour and the guy that’s asking question doesn’t know much about countries and different between Uk, Schengen and entire European countries based on the travel history question we had and I didn’t have time to explain further to him though!
It’s Mexico better so that I’d write for my passport pickup to enable me book my ticket ahead. |

Greatphase: Thanks for replying but there seem to be a different requirement for their embassy outside Nigeria.
If my other questions can be answered I will be grateful. I’m referring to applying from nigeria. You can read through the requirements and follow suit then. |

MsKay04: It's usually a short discussion, but the bottom line is to check if you are pregnant or not. They ask basic questions like why you are travelling, if you have travelled before, your job, and maybe one or two questions about your family. Do you know how long after interview they do make their decision? |

Greatphase: Hi everyone. Please, for someone going to Brazil for tourism purpose, can the person use a color copy for legalizations( Police report, Bank statement/ Reference letter)?
Does legalized birth certificate play any role there eg for residency?
Is Brazilian tourist company needed when applying for Tourist visa?
Notes: Visitation destinations are Brasilia & Belo Horizonte.
Hoping they aren't strict on work and leave letters for a freelancer researcher who also invests in Nigeria's financial markets and has ENOUGH for proof of funds. You don’t legalize those things if it’s tourist Visa. |

They ask basic questions like why you are travelling, if you have travelled before, your job, and maybe one or two questions about your family. Exactly but looking at someone to dictate pregnancy mighty give a false assumption because some women naturally have big tummy while some have it after childbirth and that doesn’t mean they’re pregnant. Moreso, if people have money to birth, I don’t think there should be any issue with that unless it’s because of skin colour. After all, USA, Canada etc have offer for all that. Some ladies worn bubu dress and top for the interview and some came from Abuja. |

dvs511: We weren’t called for interview, we got the visas without an interview so I have no idea what questions the might ask, probably about your travel plans and maybe, why Brazil…. I’m just guessing. Thanks for the responds. I heard they’d call about 90% of female applicants up for interviews. Maybe to check something or reason best known to them. Mine is up soon though By God’s Grace, Amen! |

dvs511: Our travel dates also elapsed twice and we were asked to resend new flight and hotel reservations on 2 different occasion. We didn’t send new leave letter because it wasn’t requested, you shouldn’t either. Our application period took about 3 months in total and we got the visas in the end (tourist visa). Goodluck. Woow congrats . I just got mail for interview. Did you attend interview? If yes, How long after your interview did you receive your Visa? Please do you know the kind of question they’d ask? Kindly notify me please. Thanks . I felt so ecstatic when I I saw the mail.

dvs511: Just send it via email. During my application, I was asked to send the same updated flight itinerary and hotel booking twice. It was sent via email only and wasn’t a problem. Thanks but it’s a new reservation because my previous travel expired because my previous travel date elapsed. Thanks. Did you submit new leave letter? I don’t know if I should also send a new leave letter and company NOC to them when work resumes next week because my new travel itinerary is above my previous work leave travel date schedule. Goggle states Brazil visit visa for Nigeria takes 10days and I saw different period during my application of which I have already gotten leave approval date. I hope this one doesn’t by pass again because I’m paying for the reservations. Did the previous leave letter you submitted if you did had any negative effect on your approval? |

Mide3367: no. It was something else entirely. Got it yesterday. Brazilian embassy has now made it mandatory to legalize your documents before you can apply for student visa. And police character certificate must come with receipt from ministry of foreign affairs.
First authenticate at ministry of foreign affairs and ministry of education
Notarize at either of the 2 law chambers approved by the embassy
Legalize at embassy
That's when you can apply for student visa now.
That's why my documents were sent back. I only notarize and authenticated all documents. No legalization done. I need to get receipt for my police character certificate now before i can apply for legalization because it is mandatory I’ve been on Christmas break. Hope you have done as instructed. I received a mail to send new flight and hotel reservation today. Maybe because the one I booked previously has expired since my travel date has passed. |

Mide3367: Sugarpg and others knowledgeable. what does this mean under student visa application? Documents was sent to embassy on Wednesday, yesterday Friday dhl sent WhatsApp message that the documents was picked up at the embassy and is coming back to the applicant while the application status showed that. Any information? Maybe they’re returning your original documents back to you. I think “I felt” might be a mistranslation and it’s same as sent because mine says that too but it’s under review. Maybe you can wait until you receive the returns first to ascertain what’s inside.

DarkShades: I just got a 6 months visit visa for myself, wife and 3 kids. These are my observations with respect to the process.
1. You can write one sponsorship letter and give the details of all the persons you want to sponsor and the amount per person
2. Applications are filled and submitted seperately for each child
3. Minimum time for application for a visit visa is 90 days or less to your date of travel
House may wish to correct me where i am wrong Thanks alot. Please How much did you state you’d use to support each child please? Kindly give me an idea so that I’d be on right track please. Thanks |

Hello house please can someone assist me with the right answer.
I already have 2 years UK visa and I have actually traveled to all the countries in UK but this time, I’d want to apply for my kids so that they spend their Easter vacation in London.
I’ll sponsor the vacation. I want to know if I’m to write their sponsorship letter together in one page and include their names and passport detials or I’ll write it per child.
Moreso, will their applications be applied separately or together? Kindly assist me with the answer because I’d want to apply for the visa earlier now for them to enable us prepare for the vacation on time By God’s Grace, Amen. |

francollimasso: Your question is not clear. What do you mean by main application. You can only book on the appointment website. If you delete and start again I believe it will come again as fresh appointment. If what you mean by main application is where you submitted all your documents on the visa application site that your printed your delivery receipt. You can use it again as long as you haven't submitted your delivery receipt to the embassy Thanks. I’m just seeing this. I deleted the previous appointment and booked a new one and got document submission mail the next day. God Willing, I have couriered all to the embassy. I’m going on vacation By God’s Grace, Amen! |

Can I delete my already booked appointment and rebook it? Will it affect the main application?
I made a mistake but it’s already reading under review that I’d receive mail but there’s a part to erase it.
I am thinking to erase and rebook the appointment. Has anyone deleted their appointment and rebooked without any issue? |

Jossy4love: Yes, it’s advisable for your brother to submit a personal statement along with the sponsor's letter. Even though the sponsor is covering all expenses, a personal statement helps clarify his purpose for visiting, his ties to his home country, and his intention to return after the event. It shows the visa officer he’s fully aware of the trip details and reinforces his genuine reason for travel.
Regarding the amount he should state for expenses, since the sponsor is handling accommodation, living costs, and transport, he can list a modest sum for personal expenses — around $1000 to $2000 CAD should be reasonable for 7 days. This would cover small personal purchases, emergency funds, and incidentals.
Also, ensure he includes:
The invitation letter from the church. The sponsor’s letter clearly stating the financial support. Proof of the sponsor’s financial capacity (like bank statements or employment details). Strong ties to his home country (work letter, family commitments, or property documents) to show he intends to return.
Note: Ensure that your sponsor notifies Ircc about your invites, If you don't have a reference on your invite that's been authenticate by Ircc is automatic refusal.
Currently, Ircc is looking into all documents. You must meet all to be approved. There's a high rate of refusal and a lot of people are wondering why? The answer is not far fetch. First check your purpose of travelling, if it's students route you want get all your documents from the school, also pay part of your tuition fee to convince the consular you have the funds. No lump sum, endure appropriate transaction get a reasonable amount of of pof 35m and above and carefully write your sop. Check for gaps in your education and ensure you fill appropriate vacuum. Students visa needs enough carefulness. Go through it with diligence. No rush. Ircc are cutting down on the number of immigrants so before submitting cross-check it very well. For tourist. Ensure that the purpose of your travel is defined and if you are going for a program or conference check if the program has a reference from Ircc. Most programs and conferences in Canada are not known by Ircc by so doing you will be refused on the basis of your business purpose. There are programs that are meant for only people in Canada and not for international. So, I advise you check conferences that are for international and get the ticket. From Eventbrite or Globalvisaconference. For the pof ensure your statement is above 7m and get all your documents ready. Tips for tourists., get a hotel reservation and flight reservation. All the best. You mean this is automatic refusal even when the person has Included their inviter’s Citizenship passports , pay cheque, house docs, proof of relationship etc? Is it a recent development? Please can anyone who has gotten PPR via invitation notify us how authentic this information is please. Thanks.
