The Islamic State plans to take over large parts of the world, including almost the entire Indian subcontinent, by the next five years, according to a chilling map that features in a new book on the dreaded terror group.

According to the map, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) plans to take control of the Middle East, North Africa, most of the Indian subcontinent and parts of Europe, within the next five years, to complete its caliphate.

The caliphate, a state governed by Sharia law which ISIS plan to claim, covers areas from Spain in the west to China in the east, the Mirror reported citing the map.

The map reveals the calculated way ISIS plans to take over the world by 2020.

According to the map, Andalus is the Arabic name given to the parts of Spain, Portugal and France that were occupied by the Moors from the 8th to the 15th century while the Indian subcontinent would come under 'Khurasan'.

BBC reporter Andrew Hosken, who includes the map of the targeted areas in his new book 'Empire of Fear: Inside the Islamic State', said ISIS wants "to take over all of what they see as the Islamic world.

The Ondo State House of Assembly has passed into law, a bill to regulate security, rearing and grazing of livestock and establishment of ranches into law.

Two other bills, which include a bill for a law to provide for the management of funds accruing to the state Judiciary from the consolidated revenue fund of the state and a bill for a law to eliminate violence in private and public life and prohibition of all forms of violence against persons were equally passed into law during plenary.

The chairmen of the committees set up to scrutinise the three bills had earlier presented them to the House.

Chairman House Committee on Agriculture, Hon Taofeek Oladele while presenting the report on grazing bill observed that the bill when passed into law will prevent destruction of farm crops in the state.

Oladele said that it will address clashes between herders and farmers, enhance the growth of livestock farming, prevent control and manage the spread of diseases and as well encourage modern techniques of animal husbandry.

After a thorough debate on the bill by the lawmakers, the Speaker, Rt Hon Oleyelogun Bamidele ruled in favour of the bill after a voice vote.

Also, while presenting the report on the bill on prohibition of violence against person, Hon Akintomide Akinrogunde said that the bill when passed into law will not only assist in eliminating violence against persons in public and private life but reduce attacks on women, children and other vulnerable persons.

Akinrogunde called on members to consider major amendments to clauses of the bill and consider it for passage.

Also, the bill for a law on the management of funds accruing to the Judiciary from the consolidated revenue of Ondo State was presented by the Selection Committee headed by the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Samuel Aderoboye who said that the bill when passed into law will regulate management of funds in the Judicial arm of government.

Aderoboye added that the bill when it becomes law would enhance the welfare of Judiciary Staff, regulate procurement processes in the sector and as well enhance dispensation of Justice.

He pleaded with members to consider the bill for passage as it has been subjected to proper scrutiny by the Committee.

The lawmakers after a debates on the bills, motions were moved for their adoption and they were adopted through voice votes

The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, says its leader, Nnamdi Kanu has refused to eat in the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS) since his re-arrest on Sunday, June 27.

The separatist group also said that Nnamdi Kanu should be allowed access to his lawyers, doctors, and family members as part of his fundamental human rights.

The IPOB disclosed this in a communique signed by its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful on Friday.

"His health has been deteriorating in the DSS cell as he has refused to eat their food since almost one week they kidnapped him. We demand that DSS should allow him access to his lawyers and family members for this is his lawful right. And his lawyers are being harassed and we pity them and Nigeria if anything happen to our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the Nigeria Government and security agencies must understand the product we are made of and how prepared we are.

"Southeast Governors and Ohaneze including politicians in the region must ensure that nothing bad happen to Nnamdi Kanu because Miyetti Allah and sympathisers of terrorists are going free in the country but ordinary person and innocent citizens are being molested everyday because they are Biafrans. We won't accept that.

"We also want to tell the DSS to jettison any plans to inject our leader with poisonous vaccine that will make him die slowly. Any such attempt will come with unimaginable consequences! Nnamdi Kanu must not die in custody!" The statement read partly.

I am igbo and we are travellers....the nostalgia of working and hustling all over the world and going to our hometowns during December for a well deserved holidays,in beautiful and peaceful architectural edifices ,can not be compared to the mess that has been happening.

I dont like getting into politics ,because i still cannot understand it,but what baffles me,is that the geographical size of the 5 eastern states,is just a little bit bigger than Niger state.We Igbos are entrepreneurs,we turn 100k to millions in a couple of years with patient and hard work.

So ,my solution is simply this ,let our governors and politicians use their monthly allocations and build the east.My hometown is 90% privately developed with tarred roads,gutters and street light.The only government presence ,is the police station,which was burnt during Endsars,but has been rebuilt by an industrialist.

Let us use the little we have and fix our small land( holiday homes).
