And I have never heard any Yoruba speak of anything other than being a Yoruba as they have a long glorious history too This identity crisis seems to be coming from Africans that suffered slavery. Even some of my own family members whose mothers were dark skinned and they are dark skinned as a result. But let me set the record straight, my forefathers were always brown skinned, they had curly hair and dark eyes. We came from Middle Eastern people and not Africans. My ancestors in New Orleans were Creoles not mulattos. We are of European Nobility and Jewish heritage. I'm not surrending my family legacy just so some dark skinned blacks can feel good about themselves then use it to descerate God. |
